Farmers Market
Atlanta, Georgia
70
At 2744 Peachtree Rd, this Atlanta market runs as a producer-only Saturday market with 70-plus local farmers, vendors, and artisans. That producer-only model matters here: the market defines it as food and goods grown, raised, or made by the seller, a setup that shapes the mix from farm vegetables and eggs to prepared foods and pastries. Peachtree Road Farmers Market has been operating since 2007 and is now in its 19th year, giving the market a long-running place in Atlanta’s Saturday morning rhythm.
The vendor mix leans broad without losing its farm focus, with certified organic and Certified Naturally Grown produce, pasture-raised meats and eggs, dairy, breads, pantry goods, and ready-to-eat stops all in one market. Many listings are specific enough that you can shop with a plan, whether that means spring plants, Georgia fruit, cultured butter, smoked fish, or wood-fired hand pies.
Saturday programming adds more than shopping: the weekly market calendar includes live music, a kids play area, twice-monthly storytime, a weekly chef pop-up tent, and occasional free skin cancer screenings with Olansky Dermatology & Aesthetics. One of the clearest threads here is how the producer-only rule turns the market into a place for direct, named sourcing. The market states that everything sold has been grown, raised, or made by the seller. That shows up in the vendor roster itself: Athens Orchard is tied to pawpaws, muscadines, chestnuts, persimmons, and kiwi berries adapted to Georgia conditions; Grateful Pastures Farm links its chicken and eggs to birds raised in mobile shelters on fresh pasture; Banner Butter connects cultured butter to locally sourced cream; and Oso: Smoke & Dough identifies both its wood-fired oven and its house-smoked fillings. Even prepared foods keep that maker-first emphasis, from handcrafted pasta with Kamut and Einkorn at Honest Harvest Pasta to small-batch tortilla chips and guacamole at Alligator Pear Foods.
Free parking is available, but the main garage routine is specific: park in the garage next to Fellini’s, then bring the parking ticket to the Market Information Booth for a voucher, with a suggested $5 donation, and keep the barcode uncovered. Additional free parking is available at Second-Ponce Baptist Church in the lower lot, followed by a short walk to the market. The market is open rain or shine, restrooms are available, and dogs are not allowed. If you park on neighborhood streets, follow the posted side-of-street rules and avoid blocking driveways, hydrants, or sightlines at corners.
SNAP/EBT is accepted at Peachtree Road Farmers Market, and SNAP benefits are doubled at each visit to the market. The market also notes clear payment methods for visitors, with the information booth playing a central role for parking vouchers and day-of logistics.
Free parking is available at a parking garage next to Fellini’s (across the street in the Georgia Banking Company building). Entrances are available on Peachtree Road besides La Fonda and Fellini’s. Park in the garage next to Fellini’s Pizza, bring the parking ticket to the Market Information Booth, and receive a voucher (suggested donation of $5) to adhere to the back of the parking ticket; do not cover the barcode. Vouchers are available every Saturday at the PRFM Information Booth. Additional free parking is available at Second-Ponce Baptist Church (lower lot; short walk to market). Neighborhood street parking is allowed only on designated sides and per ordinances (do not block driveways/fire hydrants, do not park in a way that creates a one-way street, and do not park on corners that impede sight).
Located outdoors by The Cathedral of St. Philip in the parking lot. Water is available at the Info Tent; restrooms are inside The Cathedral of St. Philip. Kids activities include twice-monthly storytime by the Alliance Theater, plus a designated kids area with sidewalk chalk and jumbo yard games, and the Cathedral playground is open. Live music is scheduled weekly on Saturday mornings.

Much better assortment of organic farm and wild foods than I've seen at other north GA farmers markets. There are some nonorganic foods, baked goods and crafts vendors too. You can find soy free eggs and raw milk. Dog friendly too. There was a cooking class in the middle today. Open Saturday 730am to noon.
A very beautiful & well organized Farmers Market. Great Variety of vegetables, fruit, flowers, Kombucha, tinctures, breads, various cooking oils & vinegars, some meat, prepared foods, cheeses, jams, syrups, even live music! We bought some awesome food & had a fabulous time walking around.
We had a delightful first visit to the Peachtree Road Farmers Market last weekend, as we were looking for something to do while our in-laws were visiting. We left with cold-pressed juice, pancake mix + syrup, peach sconuts, and more. We’ll definitely be return visitors. Parking seemed daunting at first but there’s a pretty large overflow lot in the back.
Lots to choose from, veggies, meats, cheeses, fresh bread & pastries, even local handmade crafts. This place is always a winner. Even if you don't want to buy produce, if you just came for some great coffee and breakfast (pastries, Farm Burger, Flora & Flour biscuits...) and to listen to the live music or chef demos, it's still a great way to spend the morning.
I love that this market is just a quick walk away on Saturday mornings. If you are coming for produce, be prepared to pay a little bit more but I have never been dissapointed with quality. I purchased a few peaches this weekend and they were phenomenal. Personally, I come for the crepes. The vendor here has a gluten free option and they are so fresh. This one had goat cheese, pesto, mushrooms, onions, spinach, and bacon and it was perfect.
