Farmers Market
Atlanta, Georgia
Ponce City Farmers Market on the BeltLine pairs a producer-only market with a mission-driven setup tied to education, SNAP/EBT, seasonal cookbooks, and broader nonprofit work. Located under The Shed outside Ponce City Market on the BeltLine, this seasonal Atlanta market runs on Wednesday evenings and is described as the only farmers market in Georgia primarily attended by pedestrians and cyclists. That placement shapes the visit: the market sits beside one of the city’s busiest walking and biking corridors while bringing together urban farmers, artisanal food makers, and pop-up chefs in one compact stop.
Under The Shed outside Ponce City Market, this market is built around Atlanta-based foot and bike traffic rather than a drive-up shopping pattern. Its BeltLine location and Wednesday evening schedule make it a weekday food stop in a dense, pedestrian part of the city.
The market’s producer-only rules matter here because vendors sell what they grow or make themselves, not resold inventory. That emphasis supports a mix of urban farmers, artisanal food makers, and pop-up chefs that reflects Atlanta’s local food economy in a direct way. The market is also part of a broader nonprofit framework that includes education, seasonal cookbooks, and SNAP/EBT access, so shopping here connects to more than a single weekly market day.
The vendor mix leans broad without losing its producer-only focus, with farms, bakeries, prepared food makers, drinks, flowers, mushrooms, nursery vendors, and pantry goods all represented. Names shift through the season, but the roster shows a market where you can build a produce bag, pick up bread or sweets, and add a ready-to-eat stop in the same visit.
Parking is routed through Ponce City Market, and the market is directly outside the 3rd-floor parking deck. If you want a quick errand, complimentary 30-minute parking is available in the lots in front of Mountain High Outfitters.
The market is at 675 Ponce de Leon Avenue under The Shed outside Ponce City Market and beside the BeltLine, so it fits easily into a walk or bike trip as well as a car visit. Dogs are welcome. Restrooms are not available on-site. Because this market runs seasonally from April through November, it is worth planning around the warm-month calendar rather than expecting a year-round schedule.
SNAP/EBT is accepted here, and the market’s parent organization also highlights SNAP/EBT use as part of its core shopper resources. Payment details are clearly communicated for visitors, which helps if you are planning a mixed basket of farm products and prepared foods.
Dog friendly with leash and cleanup requirements; hand sanitizer available at the info booth; contactless payment options are mentioned for many vendors.

This place has so many different and delicious restaurants. Atmosphere & weather last Saturday was perfect. The place, Botwalla, was soo good! First time there, and I had lamb gyro wrapped in Naan bread, I think it's called poori wrap, which is like tofu but so much better and smashed potatoes with spicy ketchup! The owner was really nice also! Food is fresh!
Nice selection of foods inside and very cool stores to check out with many local vendors and artists. Upstairs too. There's also a hidden piano we found to play!
There is so much to do here. Love the different stores and restaurants. I love the small businesses that they have. A little bit of everything for everyone to enjoy themselves.
Great date night... Horse derby, skeet ball, basket ball, putt putt, and even an adult slide.... It was a great night... I ended it with dessert from Bar Vegan-yummy peach cobbler with oat ice cream... It was heavenly. The sky line is beautiful at night. Well worth the money!
One of the best places in Atlanta! So many food and shopping options in a historical building. The BeltLine is accessible from the 2nd floor and is an amazing walking path through Atlanta. Go here, you won’t be sorry!!
