Farmers Market
Atlanta, Georgia
1393 N. Highland Ave is the Saturday address for a market that has been bringing people and food together since 1995, with a year-round schedule that makes it a steady part of Atlanta’s weekly routine. Morningside Farmers Market also has a specific identity: it was founded to provide organic, local products, and it operates as a producer-only market. The market describes itself as an intimate one, and that emphasis fits a shopping experience built around talking directly with the people growing, raising, baking, and preparing the food on their tables.
The vendor mix here leans strongly toward food you can take home for the week: certified organic produce, meats, seafood, pantry goods, baked goods, and prepared foods from named farms and makers. Because the market is producer-only, the lineup centers on vendors selling what they grow, raise, bake, catch, or make themselves.
No dogs are allowed at Morningside Farmers Market, so that policy may shape how you plan a Saturday stop. The market does not offer restrooms, another practical detail to sort out before you arrive. This is a year-round Saturday market, and its producer-only structure means the emphasis stays on direct-from-source shopping rather than resale tables. If you like asking where food came from or how it was made, that setup is part of the market’s design, and the market’s long-running weekly schedule has been in place since 1995. The market also actively looks for volunteers and sponsors, with volunteer commitments ranging from one hour to ongoing support.
Family-friendly location at Morningside Presbyterian Church; market is described as intimate and community-focused. The market is a producer-only market and includes organic standards for many product categories.

Small neighborhood farmer’s market located in the parking lot of Morningside Presbyterian Church. Runs every Saturday morning year round. Good vendors and often live music. Small number of vendors means long lines at several stalls.
Easy to park and access, all outdoor shopping makes me feel safe plus it's the oldest farmers market in Atlanta and the *only* all Organic market! My favorite vendor is Farmer Chris at Sparta Gardens who has specialty mushrooms and produce.
This little market is a gem. We absolutely love coming here as a family. Being able to shop locally grown and ORGANIC produce is a privilege that must be carefully preserved. Saturday morning walks up here with the family are fantastic, especially now that the weather is cooling off. Crystal Organic Farm now offers an online purchase option which you pickup without having to stand in line.
Hands-down the BEST farmer's market in the city! 100% organic and the farmers are extremely knowledgeable and passionate about their offerings. It's the best way to start a Saturday - super fresh produce and meats to take home and enjoy all week.
Really great food here. A bit pricey but worth it. If you can get ahold of the tortellini the pasta makers have, it's fantastic. Also, if you can find the carrot bread from the bakers, it's the best bread I've ever had.
