Farmers Market
Brooklyn, New York
Bushwick Farmers' Market Satellite Farm Stand is part of EcoStation:NY, a Bushwick-based nonprofit focused on food, social, and environmental justice. That mission gives this stand a specific role in the neighborhood: connecting Bushwick shoppers with healthy, local food through one of the weekly market sites run under the Bushwick Farmers' Market umbrella. At Woodbine Street and Irving Avenue in Brooklyn, the stand sits within a wider effort that has expanded from a single market with one farmer to multiple weekly locations across Bushwick. For shoppers, that means this is not an isolated pop-up, but one piece of a neighborhood food-access project rooted in Bushwick itself.
Bushwick is the focus here, not just the mailing address. EcoStation:NY describes itself as Bushwick-based and dedicated to food, social, and environmental justice, tying the market directly to neighborhood-level work rather than a generic retail setup. The broader Bushwick Farmers' Market operation has grown to five weekly locations throughout Bushwick, open three days a week from June to mid-November, with the stated goal of improving access to nutritious, locally grown food in an area facing high poverty rates and preventable diet-related illness.
That local framing is reinforced by the organizations around it. Partners named alongside the market effort include Make the Road New York, the Ridgewood-Bushwick Senior Citizen Council, and Brooklyn Department of Health's Stellar Markets program. Taken together, the stand reads as part of a neighborhood food-access network centered on Bushwick residents.
This satellite stand is presented as part of a market system built around healthy, local food rather than a long roster of named specialty vendors. The clearest throughline is access to farm products and nutrition-focused shopping support in Bushwick.
No restrooms and a no-dogs policy are the two details most likely to shape a visit here. The stand is located at Woodbine Street and Irving Avenue, so it helps to arrive ready for a short neighborhood stop rather than a long on-site stay. The season runs from June through November, which places this stand firmly in the warmer-month market cycle used by the broader Bushwick Farmers' Market operation.
This is a satellite farm stand, so the emphasis is on access and convenience within Bushwick. The larger market network has operated at multiple weekly locations throughout the neighborhood, and this stand fits that distributed format. Payment methods are clearly identified, which removes some guesswork at the point of purchase.
SNAP/EBT is accepted here, and the market materials also name WIC/EBT, Health Bucks, Fresh Connect Coupons, FMNP Checks, and Senior FMNP Checks as part of the Bushwick Farmers' Market payment and nutrition-benefit setup. For shoppers using food benefits, that makes this stand part of a market system built to widen access to local food in Bushwick.
WIC/EBT welcome; also mentions Health Bucks, Fresh Connect Coupons, FMNP Checks, and Senior FMNP Checks.

A great local farmers market with about 3-4 farmers, a salad guy, a delish homemade bread vendor, sake vendor (from local Kato Sake), and food demos! Such a great vibe with lots of good deals.
Local vendors set up shop here to serve their community members. Always friendly faces and great deals on fresh food. Personal favorite is the guys selling pastries and baked goods. Apple turnover and the zucchini bread is amazing. Shouts out to Riseboro for making it all happen!
Small market of 3 Farmers, reasonably priced. Good spirit of comaraderie. Other local venders weekly promoting various food/non food items which benefits the community.NYC DOHMH free nutrition/culinary workshops.
A nice place to buy and support local farming goods.
Saturdays only. Accept cash, Venmo, card. Friendly service
