Know before you go

No dogs are allowed, which is the detail most likely to change your plans if you usually bring a pet. The summer Grand Isle market runs at St. Joseph's Church, 185 Route 2, on Saturdays from mid-May through the end of October, while the market also operates Wednesdays in South Hero from May into September at St. Rose of Lima Church. One October Saturday shifts to Harvest Fest in South Hero at Allenholm Farm rather than the usual Grand Isle location, with a listed foul-weather date later in the month. Restrooms are not available on site.
