Farmers Market
Apex, North Carolina
220 N. Salem St. places Apex Farmers Market right in Downtown Apex, where the market is run by the Apex Farmers Market and Local Food Alliance, a not-for-profit focused on connecting Apex and surrounding communities with locally grown food and locally produced goods. The mission here is unusually explicit: educational outreach around healthful living, the health and economic benefits of eating local, and direct market opportunities for farmers and producers all sit alongside the weekly market itself. That gives the market a broad footprint on Saturday mornings, with farm products, prepared foods, specialty pantry items, and handmade goods all sharing space under one downtown setup.
The vendor mix reaches well beyond a produce-only stop. Farm meats, eggs, flowers, plant starts, breads, sweets, drinks, honey, sauces, and craft vendors all appear in the lineup, so a visit can cover pantry restocks, weekend treats, and gift-table browsing in one pass.
Upcoming market details, including vendor lists or cancellations, are posted on the market schedule page and updated closer to each date. Apex Farmers Market puts a noticeable amount of space toward producers whose work begins on the farm and extends into other ways of visiting, growing, or using what they raise. Triple Arrow Farm describes year-round farm-to-table products including chicken, lamb, eggs, garlic, and mushrooms from its family farm in Snow Camp. Jordan Lake Farms layers bouquets and arrangements with a CSA, U-Pick, a grow-your-own cut flower garden, and workshops. The Good Plant Company focuses on native plants grown from seed under a zero-synthetic-pesticide policy. Even the market's broader mission points in the same direction, emphasizing educational outreach about healthful living and the benefits of consuming locally grown food while giving local producers a direct sales outlet.
Free parking is available throughout Downtown Apex, which matters here because the market sits on N. Salem Street in the middle of the downtown district rather than in a dedicated parking lot. An ATM is across the street at the Tobacco Exchange, and multiple downtown locations provide public restrooms, including Mission Market at 124 N. Salem St. and Common Grounds Coffee House. Dogs are welcome at the market. If you're planning around colder months, note that the FAQ also lists a November-through-March Saturday schedule from 9am to noon, even though the main season runs April through October. The market also asks visitors not to attend when feeling unwell.

Found some unique organic, plant based oil for skin to help with eczema. My niece has been struggling with bass psoriasis/eczema to the point she does not want to leave the house. I thought I get this for her and hope that it helps her.
This is a really really nice place to go! I enjoyed a lot! You can get organic food over there while you are listening to some good live music. There are dogs everywhere, kids, families, everything is great!. The town itself its just like a movie, it es beautiful, very clean, and everyone is nice
Quaint happening! Wish they actually had more local produce and such, it's more of a arts and crafts, or boutique, thing now. But still enjoyable.
There is no replacing locally and naturally grown food! It last longer (believe it or not), tastes better, and is better for you and the earth! It's a no-brainer... be careful what you put in your body, make sure to only put the good stuff in there... this farmers market has the good stuff!
I had so much fun wandering through the vendors, chatting with them about what they were selling, and sometimes sampling. This will definitely become a regular visit for me.
