Farmers Market
Queens, New York
Corona Greenmarket sits within GrowNYC’s broader nonprofit food-access work, linking a neighborhood shopping stop in Queens to an organization that funds education, farming, and green-space programs through donations. That mission matters here because this is a seasonal market at Roosevelt Ave & 103rd St, where fresh food access and payment flexibility are central to the visit rather than an extra feature. Open from July through November, the market gives Corona shoppers a recurring place to buy farm-based food within the Greenmarket network while using the same food-access tools that GrowNYC highlights across its work.
Roosevelt Ave & 103rd St places this market directly in Corona, not in a destination shopping district, so its local value starts with where it stands in Queens. GrowNYC describes its work as supporting food access, farming, education, and green space in New York City, and Corona Greenmarket is one of the neighborhood expressions of that mission. The Greenmarket program also operates under strict producer-only standards, meaning farmers and food businesses sell farm-based products they grow or make themselves, which keeps the exchange centered on regional agricultural production rather than resale.
That combination matters in practical terms. A seasonal market in Corona that accepts nutrition benefits and follows producer-only rules does two jobs at once: it creates a direct point of sale for farmers and a direct buying point for residents using everyday payment options and public benefits. In a neighborhood setting, that is a concrete form of local food infrastructure rather than a one-off event.
Corona Greenmarket is part of GrowNYC’s producer-only Greenmarket network, so the emphasis is on farm-based goods sold by the people who grow or make them rather than mixed resale merchandise. Specific vendor rosters are not published here in the material at hand, but the market sits within a program focused on fresh food from small and regional producers.
GrowNYC’s calendar also points to the wider programming around the network, including SNAP updates and resources, seasonal guides, and food-focused events such as Cider Village and the In Season: GrowNYC Gala.
No dogs are allowed, which is one of the clearest visit rules to plan around before heading to Roosevelt Ave & 103rd St. The market also does not list restrooms among visitor amenities, so it makes sense to handle that before arriving. Because the season runs only from July through November, this is not a year-round stop in Corona; timing your visit within that window is essential.
The address is straightforward: Roosevelt Ave & 103rd St in Queens. Payment methods are clearly established through GrowNYC’s market systems, which helps if you shop with a mix of cash, cards, or benefits. GrowNYC also maintains FAQ and contact channels for its markets, indicating an organized network behind the neighborhood stand rather than an informal pop-up.
SNAP EBT is accepted at Corona Greenmarket, and GrowNYC also lists related market benefit programs including FMNP, eWIC, Health Bucks, Greenmarket Bucks, and Healthfirst OTC for select plans within its market payment systems. GrowNYC’s market materials also note cash, debit, and credit among accepted currencies across its food-access operations.
GrowNYC Greenmarkets accept SNAP EBT and other nutrition benefits; benefits are converted into wooden tokens/market currencies for use at the market.

Great place to go shopping. It is a Hispanic store. The employees are quick. It tends to get busy, the line gets long however it goes pretty fast. A bit of narrow space to move around.
