Farmers Market
Malone, New York
Malone Farmers' Market runs on Wednesdays from May through October, giving Franklin County shoppers a midweek stop for produce, meat, bread, flowers, prepared food, and Adirondack-made craft. The vendor mix leans notably broad for a one-day market: log-grown shiitake and other culinary mushrooms sit alongside sheep-milk yogurt, maple wine, tamales, cold-process soap, cut flowers, and hand-forged jewelry. That spread makes this market useful both for grocery shopping and for picking up region-specific gifts tied closely to the Adirondacks and nearby farms.
The Malone lineup mixes staple food shopping with a strong bench of specialty producers and makers. Instead of clustering around one category, the market stretches from organically grown vegetables and pasture-raised meats to herbal goods, woodwork, and jewelry shaped by Adirondack materials and imagery.
No dogs are allowed, so that detail may shape your plans before you head to the market. The market meets at Rt. 11 Malone Airport, a setting that is more specific than a typical downtown green or village park and helps when plugging in directions. Restrooms are not available on site. The shopping window runs from noon to 5 p.m. on Wednesdays, which makes this a practical stop for midday errands or an after-work pickup rather than an early-morning market trip. A market phone number is listed as 925-437-2391.
SNAP/EBT is accepted at Malone Farmers' Market, which matters if you're planning a regular grocery stop around produce, bread, meat, and other farm goods. Payment information is presented clearly by the market, helping shoppers plan purchases before they arrive.
