Brooklyn, New York
Cooper Park Farmers Market is part of the Down to Earth Markets network, the same operator connected with partners including The Old Stone House and Down to Earth Markets itself. In Brooklyn, this market is set at Maspeth Ave and Olive St beside Cooper Park. That pairing gives the market a precise neighborhood footing rather than a generic curbside setup. The season runs from May through November, placing it squarely in the city’s main outdoor market stretch. For shoppers in this part of Brooklyn, the appeal is straightforward: a seasonal market tied to a named park intersection and operated by an organization whose markets are established across multiple New York neighborhoods and towns.
Maspeth Ave and Olive St puts this market directly at Cooper Park, giving it a clear neighborhood anchor inside Brooklyn rather than in a detached lot or temporary plaza. That matters because the market is identified with the park itself, which makes it part of a daily-use public space people already recognize. It is also operated by Down to Earth Markets, an organization with named partnerships that include The Old Stone House, Friends of Morningside Park, and the Battery Park City Authority. That wider network does not change the address, but it does place Cooper Park Farmers Market within a city-and-region system of markets run by the same operator. Down to Earth Markets also states that primary products from vendors must meet its mission standards and that resale items require pre-approval and may be limited to specific markets.
There are no restrooms at the market, and dogs are welcome, two details that can shape a visit before you leave home. The market stands at Maspeth Ave and Olive St by Cooper Park, so the park-side location is the clearest way to orient yourself on arrival. The season is limited to May through November rather than year-round service. Payment methods are marked clear, which indicates shoppers can expect posted payment guidance onsite instead of guessing stall by stall. The operator also welcomes questions and suggestions through Down to Earth Markets and routes prospective vendors and non-vendor activity through formal inquiry and application processes, a sign that participation is organized through the market network rather than handled casually at the curb. That same operator oversees markets tied to places such as Cooper Park, McGolrick Park, and Washington Park.
Dogs are welcome if they do not detract from a safe, pleasant, sociable and welcoming experience; rules apply.

The farmer’s Market to go on a Sunday. I got huge lettuce and red leaf so much tastier than in the supermarket. Free veggies & bread on a pouring Sunday. Let’s go enjoy the best Nature has to offer!!!
I love this place, the coffee is so good and the park vibe is so chill, very enjoyable plan for a Sunday
While the vendors are few, the produce is great- rows and rows berries, big bunches of greens, even managed to get dill and gherkins to make my own pickles. Kombucha stand is also off the hook, and occasionally there's a spot there which takes in all old clothing and soft goods for donating to those in need.
Great farmers market Very spacious layout lots of vendors. Only gripe there should be a lot more vendors for the space they have
Get the horseradish Pickles... or kimchi cream cheese and miso bagel from Bagel Joint. Mustache yoghurt is creamy and worth a try! There are many lovely local products here.
