Farmers Market
Hampstead, Maryland
At 1341 N. Main Street, Hampstead Farmers' Market runs on summer Saturdays with a mix that reaches well past produce stands alone. The market season runs June through September, and the market materials highlight everything from produce and parking to pet policies, which gives a good sense of how practical a visit here can be. Vendor participation is restricted to local businesses that make, bake, or grow what they sell, and applications are reviewed by the market manager and advisory team based on product quality, space, and market needs. That local-only rule shapes a lineup where farm produce, baked goods, flowers, meat, crafts, and pantry items sit side by side.
The mix here leans broad: multiple produce growers, ready-to-eat and take-home baked goods, flowers, pantry staples, meat, beer, soaps, and handmade goods all appear in the regular vendor roster. That means you can shop for dinner ingredients, pick up bread or sweets, and still leave with bouquets, pottery, or woodwork from the same morning.
Each week the market also features local bands and musicians playing live music during the season.
No pets are allowed at Hampstead Farmers' Market, though service animals are welcome, so that policy may shape who comes along for the trip. The market notes that admission is free, and it offers free and ample parking, which helps if you're planning to shop across several farm and prepared-food vendors in one stop. The market materials also note handicap accessibility. If you're using an older address, note that the summer market is described as taking place at the Coppermine Pantherplex, formerly North Carroll High School, at 1400 Panther Drive in Hampstead.
SNAP/EBT is accepted at Hampstead Farmers' Market. Admission is free, and the market specifically calls out clear payment information among its visitor basics, alongside parking and pet policies, so you can plan for a mixed basket of farm goods, baked items, and pantry products before you arrive.
Free and ample parking is available.

Great farmers market. Ive only been twice since moving here earlier this year, but each time has been a pleasant surprise in offerings. Especially sweet treats. Most vendors take both cards and cash which is nice, and there is a good variety. Happy this exists in our town and happy to support these vendors, famers, chefs, and craftsman
Love the Hampstead Farmers Market! They are great to work with as a vendor and really care about the people who visit the market.
Great place. Lots of "farm" to this Farmer's Market. Many of them are just glorified craft shows...
Awesome variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, crafts, wine, soft-shell and live hard crabs, baked goods and more.
Always look forward to our local farmers market! Love it
