Reisterstown, Maryland
Reisterstown Farmers Market is tied to the Reisterstown Improvement Association, a local partner that roots the market in the town’s civic life rather than treating it as a stand-alone shopping stop. The market runs on Sundays at 360 Main Street, on the front lawn of Franklin Middle School in Historic Reisterstown, which gives it a distinctly Main Street setting. From late spring into fall, that setup brings food shopping into a visible, central part of town, with local produce, breads, pastries, coffees, teas, and more gathered in one place.
The front lawn of Franklin Middle School places this market directly in Historic Reisterstown, linking weekly food buying to a recognizable local landmark and a specific town setting. That matters because the market is not described as an isolated roadside site; it is part of Reisterstown’s own built landscape and seasonal rhythm.
Its partnership with the Reisterstown Improvement Association adds another local anchor, tying the market to an organization focused on the town itself. The market’s own description emphasizes local produce alongside breads, pastries, coffees, and teas, keeping the mix close to everyday food rather than novelty-only offerings. In practice, that gives Reisterstown a Sunday market with a clearly local frame: historic setting, town-based partner, and a food lineup centered on local products.
The market’s published mix reads like a compact Sunday provisions stop, with staples for the week alongside a few slower-paced treats. Rather than a long category sprawl, the emphasis lands on core food items named in the market description.
The market is also listed as an event under its own name, reinforcing that this is a recurring seasonal gathering as well as a place to shop. On the front lawn of Franklin Middle School, the market’s strongest thread is how plainly it belongs to Historic Reisterstown. That combination of school lawn and historic district keeps the setting grounded in everyday town life rather than separating food shopping from the rest of Main Street. The named offerings—local produce, breads, pastries, coffees, and teas—fit that tone: a Sunday market built around items people can carry home and use right away, from produce for meals to bread and drinks for the same day. Even the seasonal run from late May through November supports that feel of a market that appears with the warmer months and occupies a familiar civic space while it lasts.
No dogs are allowed, so that detail may shape plans before you head to Main Street. The market meets at 360 Main Street on the front lawn of Franklin Middle School, which is the key landmark to use when arriving. Parking is described as plentiful and free, removing one of the main logistical questions for a Sunday market stop. Restrooms are not available on site, another practical point worth factoring into the visit. If you prefer an earlier stop, the market’s four-hour Sunday window runs from 9:00am to 1:00pm during its May-to-November season. Kelsey Marcus is the named market contact.

Small town farmers market within a quaint main street Maryland community. Great returning vendors with coffee, produce, and baked goods each Sunday, 9am to 1pm in front of Franklin Middle School!
This is a great local market. There are vendors of all kinds including house plants, produce, meats & eggs, jewelry, coffee, wine and more. Come check it out every Sunday starting in June. Check Facebook for updates and vendor profiles.
Very cute farmer’s market. Not always a huge number of vendors but the venders have quality products at reasonable prices. Definitely worth a visit! I hope they keep growing; we love getting our veggies and other treats there, like the artisan soap, fresh salsa and really yummy gluten free baked goods! And you can bring your pup along 🐶
Lots of farm-fresh produce, savory bakers, locally raised meats, coffee & flowers. Great lil town farmers' market with loads to offer and not too crowded. Good start to a summer Sunday.
I found myself torn on Sunday morning, debating whether to go downtown to I-83's farmers market or stay local. I'm thrilled that I chose to support my hometown and visit our local farmers market instead. Hats off to Foxleigh Farms; my Sunday dinner was a delightful cucumber, tomato, and red onion salad accompanied by some delicious corn on the cob. The freshness and flavor were exceptional. I savored a refreshing Muddy Ice Tea from the farmers market with my meal. To top it off, the luscious and oh-so-sweet blackberries served as a perfect dessert. The snapdragons that adorned my dinner...
