Farmers Market
Gainesville, Florida
50
Saturday morning is the standing window for Haile Village Farmers Market in Gainesville, with shopping centered on a vendor lineup that reaches about 50 sellers. The market’s mix leans heavily toward farm names that are also featured in its in-season produce coverage, including Possum Hollow Farm, Frog Song Organics, Rosies Organic Farm, Forest Grove Farm, and Nicoya Farm. That combination gives the market a strong grower-forward identity, while the vendor roster also makes room for producers such as Eggsotics, Prairie Garden & Pottery, and Crawford Farms. For Gainesville shoppers planning a weekly produce run, this is a Saturday market with a notably deep bench of named farms.
The vendor roster is anchored by farms that appear repeatedly in the market’s own current-vendor and in-season materials, so the shopping pattern here reads as produce-first rather than novelty-first. You’ll see a broad spread of named growers alongside a smaller set of specialty vendors, which helps explain how the market reaches its roughly 50-vendor scale.
No dogs are allowed, which is the clearest visit detail likely to change how you plan your Saturday morning. The market runs on Saturdays from 8:30 am to noon, so the shopping window is compact rather than all-day. On-site restrooms are marked unavailable, another practical detail to account for before arriving. Payment methods are presented clearly by the market, which can make it easier to sort out how you want to pay once you’re there. If you’re choosing between stops, the market’s own materials emphasize a large vendor count and a roster built around named farms from the Gainesville area.
Live music is listed for certain dates, and events include kids activities such as scavenger hunts and holiday events.

We really enjoy being part of this farmers' market! It’s well run, welcoming, and full of great local vendors. We love getting to see familiar faces each week and sharing our pasture-raised beef and lamb with customers here.

Cozy, and I love the vibe and live music. I could get fresh lion mane mushrooms most of the times, which hard to find on local markets. And the local raw honey.
An extremely enjoyable farmers market. They had music playing and it was a beautiful little stroll through Halle plantation. I strongly suggest everyone go and check it out. That was totally worth it. I bought a few plants from an amazing lady that builds her own planters out of wood. Absolutely gorgeous the line for the desserts was around the corner. I didn’t get in line but next week I have a feeling I’m going to. Five stars all the way.
Lots of AMAZING food and farm fresh goods! We take our dogs here to do distraction training. There are lots of dogs
