Farmers Market
Willits, California
Willits CFM is part of the Mendocino County Farmers Market Association, the cooperative that runs certified farmers markets across Mendocino and adjacent counties. In Willits, that translates into a Thursday market at 100 State St with a mix of agricultural producers, prepared food vendors, plant sellers, and craft makers. The lineup includes names like New Homestead Farm/Mendocino Lavender, Dragon Solar Farm, and Bee the Change Microfarm alongside ready-to-eat stops such as Little Stacks Mini Pancakes and Huck’s Sliderhouse LLC. SNAP/EBT is accepted here, which makes this downtown stop useful for both routine grocery shopping and prepared-food pickups.
The Mendocino County Farmers Market Association states that its purpose is to provide low-overhead, cooperatively run marketplaces for vegetables, fruits, and related agricultural products grown and produced in Mendocino and nearby counties. It also says those certified farmers markets are strategically located to encourage and support direct marketing of locally grown and produced agricultural products under California direct-marketing regulations. Willits CFM sits within that countywide structure rather than operating as a stand-alone event, linking this market to a broader local system that includes CalFresh, EBT, WIC, SNAP Advantage, and Market Match partners. That local emphasis shows up in the vendor roster, where farms, food businesses, and makers appear side by side under the same market umbrella.
The Willits roster spans several distinct lanes: agricultural products, prepared foods, crafts, meats and cheese, and nurseries and plants. That makes this a market where produce-oriented shopping can overlap with a meal stop, a plant purchase, or a look through local handmade work.
No dogs are allowed at Willits CFM, and restrooms are not available on site. The market is held at 100 State St on Thursdays, a straightforward downtown address that is easy to pair with other errands in Willits. The posted schedule starts at 3pm, with the closing window noted as 5pm or 6pm in December, so late-afternoon timing matters if you are trying to fit in a stop after work. Payment methods are clearly identified, which is useful if you are planning a mixed purchase of farm goods and prepared foods. The vendor list also stretches beyond produce alone, so this is a market where a grocery run can overlap with crafts, plants, or a ready-to-eat meal.
SNAP/EBT is accepted at Willits CFM. The market is also connected to CalFresh, WIC, SNAP Advantage, and Market Match through the Mendocino County Farmers Market Association network. Payment methods are presented clearly for shoppers planning purchases across farm vendors and prepared-food stands.
Accepts WIC, SNAP Advantage, and Market Match. EBT/CalFresh recipients can use an EBT machine to receive tokens; Market Match doubles spending power (market match up to $30). Vendors are encouraged to provide produce bags; shoppers are advised to bring bags and larger carriers.

Doug the owner is great. He is fare and reasonable. We have rented from him for 4 years, he was always polite and quick to respond on maintenance calls. Thanks Doug! If anybody has anything negative to say it's probably because they spent the last two years living" COVID" rent free and making Doug's life a living hell.
Very friendly staff. They are a wonderful company to work with on finding housing. If you're looking for a rental, look no further!
Left my apartment better then I found it there was the stove maybe couple surface counters to wipe down left them a 1000$ fridge they said I would most likely get my deposit back because of it then took off an extreme amount they haven’t called me back to return some of my deposit unprofessional cleaning shouldn’t have took them more then 3 hours I have pictures and video of how I left it cleaner then when I moved in
young girl answering the phone is disgustingly rude. I asked why I haven't been called back about the numerous issues I had been calling about for years and she threw a tantrum. Horrible customer service.
Doug is awful, doesnt make timely repairs to keep people housed. All Hud tenants are not the same. Some are responsible and clean. Although, he isnt able to arrange the repairs needed to maintain hud requirements for a safe place to live. Most sites he manages dont get the updates they need. The manditory carpet replacements, leaky windows are ignored. He has told tenants not to put furniture against walls because it will cause mold(obvious structural damage). Really bad to be honest. If i were a governing agency i would be auditing this “management” company for their poor practices and...
