Farmers Market
South San Francisco, California
Kaiser South San Francisco Certified Farmers' Market is part of PCFMA, the nonprofit market operator founded in 1988 with a mission to support California farmers and communities through farmers’ markets across the Bay Area. That mission-driven frame gives this South San Francisco stop a clear emphasis: direct market access paired with practical food shopping. Set at 1200 El Camino Real, the market puts a certified farmers’ market in a healthcare-campus setting, with a seasonal schedule from May through October and SNAP/EBT acceptance built into the visit. The result is a compact market shaped around produce, prepared foods, and everyday convenience rather than a long destination-style outing.
The named vendor mix points to a market that balances fresh ingredients with ready-to-eat stops, so a visit can work for both shopping and a quick meal pickup. Rather than a broad catalog of categories, the clearest picture here comes from the specific businesses tied to South San Francisco.
Those vendor names suggest a practical split between cooking ingredients and finished foods, useful if you are fitting the market into a workday or an appointment day at 1200 El Camino Real. The packet does not establish recurring event programming here, so the strongest draw is the vendor lineup itself rather than a separate entertainment schedule.
No dogs are allowed, which is the clearest visit-planning rule tied to this market and worth knowing before you head to 1200 El Camino Real. The market operates seasonally from May through October rather than year-round, so timing matters if you are building it into a regular shopping routine. Restrooms are not available on-site in the market details, another practical point if you are coming with kids or planning a longer errand run. Payment methods are clearly identified through the operator, which helps if you want to arrive with a plan for how you will shop. With no parking, transit, or rain-policy details established here, the most reliable assumptions are the seasonal window, the no-dogs rule, and the market’s straightforward grocery-focused setup.
SNAP/EBT is accepted at PCFMA farmers’ markets, including this South San Francisco market, giving shoppers a documented way to use benefits on-site. PCFMA also states that its markets accept WIC-FMNP, EBT, and Market Match as part of its affordability programs for fresh food. Payment methods are presented clearly in the market details, so this is a market where bringing benefits or another planned payment option makes sense.
PCFMA markets accept WIC-FMNP coupons and CalFresh/EBT, and Market Match doubles CalFresh/EBT dollars for fresh fruits and vegetables (up to an additional $15 per farmers’ market visit).

Kind with a compassionate straight forward manner, with so much knowledge.. I simply adore Dr Alice Yeh and have nothing but a great experience, praise, trust and gratitude for her being my Dr. and helping me through my Health experience.
Dr. Moharrami, is very professional, attentive, asks questions, gives very responsive answers & rationale & is verbally expressive. He does his best to actually cut out a callus, trim nails, & diagnose the problem and provides what to do or what you should do in order to remedy whatever may be problematic. Over all, I give Dr. Moharrami my 10 Stars for his excellence in podiatry!
The staff were very friendly and patient with me. I didn't realize that I needed a driver to take me home and the nurse was very kind as I made phone calls to my family to arrange a pickup. The doctor also was friendly, and very efficient in getting the procedure done. I felt no pain or discomfort and for me it was a very pleasant experience.
Review for my recent Gastroenterology endoscopy. Everyone from the person I registered with to the first person I saw when I woke up were kind, professional, and helpful in making me feel at ease and comfortable. I appreciated being able to speak with Dr Saxena just before the procedure.
I go to Kaiser because thats what my employer offers for insurance. It really is convenient though having most of the services in one spot. This place is well kept and the doctors and nurses are all pretty nice. I haven't had to do much other than annual check ups though so I'm not sure how the specialists are.
