Farmers Market
Citrus Heights, California

Sunrise Mall Farmers Market ties a weekly grocery stop to the broader Living Smart mission of educating youth and families in health, business, financial management, and life skills. In Citrus Heights, that gives the Saturday market a distinct frame: it operates under the Living Smart Farmers Markets banner while offering room for up to 80 vendors and accepting WIC/EBT benefits. The market runs year-round at 6196 Sunrise Boulevard, pairing a regular weekly schedule with free parking and a mix that regular visitors describe as produce-forward with crafts, plants, prepared food, and live music.
Living Smart Farmers Markets organizes Sunrise Mall Farmers Market as part of a larger effort centered on health, life skills, and financial education for youth and families. That mission gives this market a clearer civic purpose than a simple pop-up retail event, especially because the same organization also manages a calendar of public makers marts and seasonal festivals across nearby places including Folsom, Vernon Square in Roseville, Maidu Community Park, and Historic Folsom Plaza.
Locally, the practical impact is visible in access: the Sunrise Mall market is open year-round, has free parking, and accepts WIC/EBT benefits. The vendor application materials also show an emphasis on farm products including fruits, vegetables, herbs, nuts, honey, flowers, and USDA products such as meats and poultry, pointing to a market built around staple food shopping as well as added-value goods.
The strongest through-line here is a farm-and-food base with room for plants, crafts, and prepared items. Visitor comments point to a market where produce leads, but the mix extends beyond raw ingredients into snack stops and browseable handmade goods.
No dogs is the detail most likely to change your plan for a Saturday visit. The market takes place at 6196 Sunrise Boulevard in Citrus Heights and offers free parking, which simplifies arrival if you are coming by car for a larger grocery run. Because the market runs year-round on Saturday mornings into early afternoon, it works as a regular errand stop rather than a short seasonal window.
Expect a relatively large setup: Living Smart says the market can host up to 80 vendors. One visitor described finding vegetables, crafts, plants, a food truck or booth, and live music, while another highlighted fruit, vegetables, popcorn, and drinks. Restrooms are not listed among visitor amenities, so plan accordingly.
WIC/EBT benefits are accepted at Sunrise Mall Farmers Market, an important detail for shoppers planning to use nutrition assistance on a weekly grocery trip. Payment information is otherwise presented clearly for visitors, and the market pairs that access with free parking and a year-round Saturday schedule.
FREE parking is available.
WIC/EBT benefits accepted; FREE parking; up to 80+ vendors.

There are a lot of friendly vendors. You will find a lot of veggies but also crafts, plants, at least one food truck/booth and live music. I love going to this farmers market and I try to make the trip out there every Saturday if possible 🙂.
I love this farmers market. They have a lot of variety and some great crafts. We love the popcorn and drink as well. It is a great place to get fruits and vegetables.
I love this farmer's market, there's sooo much good food here. Artisan yogurt, delicious salsa, small cheesecakes, street tacos, lumpia, baklava, hummus & african dips... Plus all the fresh fruit and veggies! Usually has some live music, too. Worth checking out!
It is a cozy little place with lots of different vendors with fruits, fish, vegetables, popcorn, fresh bread bake goods, flowers, honey, a guy was playing music, and other stuff. It opens early in the morning every Saturday. Good place to support small business and get fresh groceries. It is behind sunrise mall/Sears.
So many great products! I bought French 🇫🇷 style yogurt and I ordered orange 🍊 mango 🥭 juice 🥤. I had lots of fun and enjoyed spending time there! So many fresh vegetables and fruits. Beautiful handmade items! ❤️❤️❤️
