Farmers Market
Sheridan, Wyoming
505 College Meadows Drive is the setting for Landon’s Greenhouse Farmers Market in Sheridan, a market tied to a greenhouse business whose production now operates behind the retail store on the same property. Landon’s began in 1979 with founders Jack and Kathy Landon on four acres on Landon Lane past Big Horn, and the business later added its College Meadows Drive retail store in 2001 before moving the entire growing and production operation there in 2020. Today the site includes seven greenhouses and 29,400 square feet of growing and production space, which gives this market a distinctly greenhouse-centered backdrop rather than a street-closure setup.
The clearest throughline here is the overlap between greenhouse retail and Saturday market activity at the Sheridan store. Landon’s own materials pair market listings with a long in-store mix of plants, garden goods, and landscaping supplies, while one visitor noted vendor booths on Saturday alongside plants, planters, and crafts.
Special events also appear on the calendar. Spring Fest – Open Market was scheduled for Saturday, June 20 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm as a celebration of fresh flavors and handmade treasures, and a Summer Fest listing appears for August 1 in the same 9:00 am to 12:00 pm window.
No dogs is the clearest rule to plan around at Landon’s Greenhouse Farmers Market. Restrooms are marked unavailable, so this is a stop to time deliberately rather than an all-morning linger if that amenity matters to your group. Payment methods are clearly posted, which removes some guesswork once you arrive at the Sheridan store.
This market is also unusually tied to a working greenhouse campus. The production operation was rebuilt behind the retail store in 2020, and the property now includes seven greenhouses plus 29,400 square feet of growing and production space. Current owners Keith and Jennifer Kershaw have been part of Landon’s since 2012, connecting the market to a longer-running business rather than a one-season pop-up. One visitor described weekend visits as crowded and suggested weekdays as a calmer time to shop for plants, a useful note if your trip is split between the market and the broader greenhouse store.

Huge selection of awesome plants and planters and crafts. We also visited on Saturday & there were booths for vendors like a farmers market. I went for one item but needed help loading the car as just kept finding things. What a great place with super friendly & knowledgable staff.
Great place to buy plants. Everything I have ever bought here was very healthy. Staff is very knowledgeable about everything. Best time to go is during the week. Very crowded on the weekend.
Love love love this place! The staff are super knowledgeable about native plants. We purchased plants at the end of the season for our new house and Landon's is holding a tree for us till we move in. Sheridan is lucky to have this gem of a green house!
A wonderful garden center! Variety of vegetables and flowers! Always buy more than what I go in for😁. Bridgett was a delight and the older gentlemen (didn't catch his name) was a wealth of information of what I needed for my flowers. I could spend the whole day in there.
I received excellent customer service at Landon's. Stella and Val were incredibly helpful in helping me pick out the perfect flowers for my flower beds. I appreciated their attention, suggestions, and willingness to answer my questions. Landon's team's dedication to providing excellent customer service has not gone unnoticed. What a blessing to have such friendly and knowledgeable staff, and I am grateful for the time and effort they put into my shopping experience. Thank you, Landon's Greenhouse, Nursery, and Landscaping!
