Farmers Market
West Bend, Wisconsin
The Downtown West Bend Association runs this farmers market as part of its broader work to preserve and maintain an economically healthy, historic downtown in West Bend. That shows up in where the market sits: on Main Street and along the River Walk, with activity tied directly to the downtown district rather than a separate fairground-style site. The market season runs from June through October, placing it squarely in West Bend’s warmer-month calendar of downtown events. One visitor described it as a morning stop with fresh produce, live music, and a family-friendly feel.
The Downtown West Bend Association is a nonprofit focused on preserving and maintaining an economically healthy, historic downtown for West Bend, and the farmers market is one of the events it runs through the year. That makes the market part of the same downtown program that also includes ArtWalk, Music on Main, Wheels on Main, Christkindl Markt, and seasonal shopping events.
Its setting matters too. Main Street, the River Walk, and periodically closed downtown streets place the market inside West Bend’s central business district, where shopping, dining, and event traffic reinforce the historic core the organization is trying to sustain.
The downtown mix here extends well beyond produce stands. Main Street businesses, restaurants, boutiques, service providers, and creative shops all appear in the market orbit, so a visit can lean as much toward downtown browsing and eating as toward traditional farm-market shopping.
The market also sits inside a larger DWBA event calendar that includes Music on Main, ArtWalk, Summer Sidewalk Sale, and Wheels on Main, so market days land in a downtown district that regularly hosts other public events.
No dogs are allowed, which is the clearest rule likely to change how you plan your visit. Restrooms are listed as unavailable, so it helps to arrive with that in mind rather than expecting on-site facilities. The market is centered at 215 N Main Street in downtown West Bend, within the Main Street and River Walk area. Payment methods are clearly identified by the market, which makes it easier to decide how to pay once you arrive. If you need a direct point of contact, the Downtown West Bend Association can be reached at 262-338-3909 or ed@downtownwestbend.com.
DWBA event policies state that approved vendors may distribute items from designated locations, and unauthorized promotion/distribution/sales on behalf of private/public businesses is not permitted during events.

We went to our first one this year. It's always a great time. We really enjoyed Tommy Schwai's brats they are always a hit. We also tried a cheese stand we hadn't tried before and it was amazing.
Always a bunch of fun for the whole family. Great vendors and awesome love music. A great place to go in the morning to get your day started. We love the variety of fresh produce.
Absolutely amazing. Its a must see . Always something for everyone. There is an amazing local artist 🎨 there that does amazing canvases and 🛹 skateboards . Anything you want
First time going. The main reason I went today was a vendor who ended up not being there, unfortunately, but there seemed to be many vendors with fabulous looking produce and homemade products, some musical entertainment, and other goods being sold. I'll have to try again another week for the vendor I hoped to visit today. It's a pretty nice setup.
What a cool place with wonderful vendors! Fresh produce! Neat ideas for recipes! Try Tiffany's beet juice and lemon drink! It's a great way to get your vitamins etc with a fantastic taste. Family and friends and neighbors what a fun time!
