Farmers Market
West Bend, Wisconsin
Downtown West Bend Farmers' Market is tied closely to the Downtown West Bend Association, the nonprofit focused on preserving and maintaining an economically healthy, historic downtown in West Bend. That connection gives the market a distinctly downtown setting on Main Street, with the River Walk also part of the same district landscape. Running from June through October at 215 N Main Street, the market sits inside a business district where shopping, dining, and civic life overlap rather than standing apart. In West Bend, this market reads as part of a broader downtown program instead of a stand-alone weekly stop.
The Downtown West Bend Association centers its work on an economically healthy, historic downtown, and the farmers' market is one of the recurring public events under that umbrella. That matters in West Bend because the market is woven into the same downtown network that includes Main Street, the River Walk, and a broader calendar of public events.
The market also sits alongside other downtown programming such as ArtWalk, Music on Main, Wheels on Main, Fall Fest, Wine Walks, and Winter Warm Up, placing it inside a year of organized activity rather than treating it as an isolated seasonal event. In practical terms, the market helps keep downtown West Bend active during its June-to-October season while reinforcing the district the association exists to support.
This market’s mix is unusually downtown-facing: instead of a produce list, the named participants point to nearby shops, restaurants, studios, service businesses, and organizations with a Main Street footprint. The result is a market visit shaped as much by storefront discovery and local business crossover as by traditional stall browsing.
The downtown calendar also lists market-adjacent programming including a Farmers Market information booth and entertainment at the farmers' market, adding activity beyond vendor encounters.
No dogs are allowed, which is the clearest visit rule to plan around before heading to Main Street. The market runs at 215 N Main Street in downtown West Bend, placing it directly in the Main Street district rather than at a park or fairground site. Payment methods are clearly posted on-site, which helps if your preferred way to pay matters from stall to stall. Restrooms are not available as a visitor amenity here, so it helps to plan your stop as part of a broader downtown outing. For market questions, the listed downtown contact number is 262-338-3909.
DWBA event policies state that approved vendors may distribute items from designated locations, and unauthorized promotion/distribution/sales on behalf of private/public businesses is not permitted during events.

We went to our first one this year. It's always a great time. We really enjoyed Tommy Schwai's brats they are always a hit. We also tried a cheese stand we hadn't tried before and it was amazing.
Always a bunch of fun for the whole family. Great vendors and awesome love music. A great place to go in the morning to get your day started. We love the variety of fresh produce.

First time going. The main reason I went today was a vendor who ended up not being there, unfortunately, but there seemed to be many vendors with fabulous looking produce and homemade products, some musical entertainment, and other goods being sold. I'll have to try again another week for the vendor I hoped to visit today. It's a pretty nice setup.
What a cool place with wonderful vendors! Fresh produce! Neat ideas for recipes! Try Tiffany's beet juice and lemon drink! It's a great way to get your vitamins etc with a fantastic taste. Family and friends and neighbors what a fun time!
