Farmers Market
Brookfield, Wisconsin
Ascension is one of the named partners connected with Brookfield Farmers Market, a Saturday market that runs from May through October in Brookfield. The market brings together a notably wide range of vendors, from Brookfield-grown flowers at Awakening Flower Farm to smoked salmon and trout from Silver Moon Springs and heirloom-corn tortillas from La Cosecha Tortilla Co.. SNAP is accepted, and shoppers can also use a digital Frequent Shopper Rewards Card added to a phone wallet or pick up a free paper punch card at the Information Table.
The market’s season includes an “Opening Day of the 36th Season of the Brookfield Farmers' Market,” giving this Brookfield stop a long-running place in the local calendar. Its vendor roster also ties directly to nearby and Wisconsin-based production: Awakening Flower Farm grows flowers in Brookfield gardens, Roberts Produce grows vegetables on a family farm in Mukwonago, and Alaska Fresh Seafood brings salmon burgers made in Palmyra each week.
The mix is not limited to raw produce. Brookfield shoppers can pick up local honey and beeswax candles from Hemken Honey, old fashioned oats milled in western Wisconsin from Oly's Oats, and trout products connected to Silver Moon Springs, where the Winkel family has been raising trout since 1977. That combination keeps the market tied to nearby farms, food makers, and longstanding regional producers.
Brookfield Farmers Market leans broad rather than narrow, with fresh ingredients, ready-to-eat foods, pantry staples, plants, and a few service and craft vendors all in the same Saturday trip. The vendor list includes everyday staples like vegetables, bread, meat, and eggs alongside prepared dishes and specialty products that change the feel of a typical produce run.
The calendar also lists a Winter Farmers' Market at the Food Court at Brookfield Square Mall, plus a recurring “Market & More” event.
There are no restrooms listed for the market, and dogs are welcome, two details that can shape how long you stay and who comes along. Brookfield Farmers Market takes place at 2000 North Calhoun Road and runs on Saturdays from 7:30 am to noon during the May-through-October season.
If you use the market often, the Frequent Shopper Rewards Card can be added digitally to a phone wallet through the market’s QR code, and free paper punch cards are also available at the Information Table. Gift tokens are sold at the Information Table as well. For direct questions, the market lists a phone number: (262) 784-7804.
SNAP is accepted at Brookfield Farmers Market, with EBT and FoodShare card options named among market partners. The market also highlights a digital Frequent Shopper Rewards Card that can be added to a cell phone wallet, alongside free paper punch cards at the Information Table. Gift tokens are available for purchase at the market as well.
Pets are welcome with owners if they are on a leash, well behaved, and do their business outside the market before entering. The Information Table sells gift tokens and market tokens; EBT (FoodShare) can be used to purchase tokens. Tokens never expire and are accepted by all market farmers and vendors.

Great local farmer's market with lots of local vendors of fruit and veg, flowers and plants, and locally made prepared food and dessert items. Lots of parking. Local groups and entertainment throughout the day, too.
A great local market with a wide variety of produce, baked goods, prepared foods and meat. Every third Saturday is market and MORE with local vendors with arts, crafts, and other fun things.
Was easy to find. Easy parking. Handicap spaces. Nice surface to walk or use a walker on. Excellent combination of food trucks, vegetable booths, plants, Bakery and music. 🤗 one very unique vendor had homemade pasta to take a meal home and then make it all fresh ingredients. That vendor will be there the last two weeks of October. Those vegetable beet noodles are fantastic!!!
Amazing market! Great selection of vendors, they have port a pottys, they take ebt cards(you get tokens). The market and more is awesome too, it's the third Saturday of every month, and features more crafts and artisan booths. There is also a public playground for the kids, across the parking lot at a church.
