Farmers Market
Orting, Washington
At 101 Washington Ave in North Park, at the corner of Calistoga and Washington, the Orting Valley Farmers Market sets up in a part of town tied closely to Hwy 162 and Orting’s outdoor stops. The market’s own description places it near biking and hiking trails, picnic areas, playgrounds, restaurants, shops, the Puyallup and Carbon Rivers, and views toward Mt. Rainier. That setting fits a Friday market with a practical mix: farm produce, flowers, eggs, prepared food, drinks, pantry goods, and a deep bench of craft vendors.
Fresh food is the backbone here, but the lineup extends well beyond produce stands. The market brings together growers, bakers, hot food vendors, drink stalls, pantry makers, and handmade goods, so a visit can cover dinner ingredients, a ready-to-eat meal, and a few nonfood finds in one stop.
No dogs are allowed, which is an important detail if you usually pair a market trip with a walk through the park. Parking is one of the easier logistics here: the market is in North Park off Hwy 162 and Calistoga with ample parking and easy loading and unloading. The location also places you near Orting amenities and outdoor recreation, including biking and hiking trails, picnic areas, playgrounds, restaurants, and shops. One visitor noted that late-afternoon summer heat can shape the produce mix on some Fridays.
EBT, debit, and credit are accepted at the market, giving shoppers more than one way to pay for their purchases. SNAP shoppers can use EBT here, with SNAP acceptance confirmed by the market.
Located in North Park off Hwy 162 and Calistoga with ample parking and easy loading/unloading.
Free classes, demonstrations, and entertainment are always available. The manager’s booth accepts EBT, debit, and credit, and offers matching funds to stretch the value of EBT dollars.

One of my favorite places on Fridays!!! The Eternal Soul Bowls are amazing. And let's not forget June's Jungle with awesome plants. And The farmers with fresh fruit. All of it is sooo good!!
People were very nice. Since it is so late in the afternoon and very hot the local growers stayed home mostly. There were only a handful of fruits and vegetables vendors. Lots of other things to buy from kettle Korn to honey
Went to the BBQ FESTIVAL, had so many types of good Q,potato salad and bake beans, chicken wings and a cold beer to chase it all down. Met so many people who gave excellent service and very knowledgeable about their BBQ, the difference rub and secret sauce and the quality of their ribs. I'll definitely go back next year, mark it on your calendar for next year! (June 28)
Great open air market! Everyone I've met there are so friendly and the vendors have some really unique items for sale. Highly recommended!!
