Eastsound, Washington
Orcas Island Farmers Market runs in Eastsound from May through November on Saturdays, giving the island a regular weekly market in the middle of its main season. The market is centered on Eastsound Village Green, which places it right in town rather than on the edge of it. The market organization describes two seasons, with the summer market on the Village Green and an indoor market after summer that continues on Saturdays in October through the Saturday before Thanksgiving in November. One visitor summed up the mix as local food, local artist pieces, and food stalls, with room to picnic or listen to music.
The clearest through-line here is that the market is organized around local vendors across farms, arts and crafts, food services, and non-profits, rather than around a single narrow product type. Its own vendor materials also point to a market with separate summer and indoor fall seasons, so the format extends beyond a short peak-season run.
A visitor described seeing fresh produce, local artist pieces, and food stalls, adding that it can also be a place to have a picnic or listen to music.
No dogs are allowed, so anyone traveling with a pet will need to adjust plans before arriving. Parking is informal—“where you find it”—rather than a designated lot setup, which matters if you are timing a quick stop in Eastsound. Restrooms are available at the market. The market meets at Eastsound Village Green. The organization also notes a second, indoor stretch of the season after summer, running on Saturdays in October through the Saturday before Thanksgiving in November, useful context if you are visiting in fall and expecting the Village Green setup to look different. One visitor highlighted oysters, local food, and local art as part of the walk-around experience.
SNAP/EBT is accepted at Orcas Island Farmers Market. The market also indicates that payment methods are clearly communicated on site, which helps if you are planning purchases across different booths rather than assuming every vendor handles payments the same way.
Public restrooms are available on the park grounds. Leashed dogs are permitted at the Outdoor Summer Market only.

So many different vendors and options! All local food and art. The people are so nice and everything is high quality. Get some fresh oysters to munch on as you wander around and you won't be disappointed.
What a nice market with fresh produce offerings, local artist pieces and food stalls. A great local event that is welcoming to visitors. A fun place to have a picnic or listen to music.
Probably the most fun thing I do all year. Especially on Solstice weekend. And the parade. And the music. And so many happy gorgeous people.at the Market. Thank you Eastsound.
If you are in the area, you must visit Orcas Island Farmers Market. There is so cool stuff to see and enjoy the delicious tamales 🫔
Locally grown food from Orcas Island farms. A vendor spinning wool from her farm's sheep. The historical museum is fantastic, opens at 11am. Live folk music. Family-friendly affair!
