Cheney Farmers Market opens its season with support from Idaho Central Credit Union, one of the named sponsors tied to individual market dates. In Cheney, the market runs from June through September and brings vendors together around the downtown park setting tied to Veterans Memorial Park and the Cheney Rodeo Building area. The market’s own materials point to a mix of farmers and independently owned small businesses, which gives the lineup a clear local-business focus rather than a resale market. That combination shows up in the vendor roster, where produce, flowers, honey, baked goods, soap, jewelry, and handmade items all share space.
Vendors here must be farmers and/or independently owned small businesses, a rule that shapes the market from the ground up. That matters in a place like Cheney because the roster includes farms, specialty food producers, and makers tied directly to the region’s small-scale economy, from Mfive Farm and Pork and Petals to Becky’s Pure & Simple Soap and Reka's Acres Lavender. The market also works with named sponsors and partners including Idaho Central Credit Union, Eastern Coffee Roasters, and the Cheney Farmers Market Association, showing that the market is supported through visible local relationships as well as vendor participation. Live music dates and a Fall Fest add repeat reasons to return during the season.
The vendor mix leans broad rather than narrow: farm products sit alongside prepared treats, body care, flowers, and handcrafted goods, so the market reads as a combined farm-and-maker lineup. Several vendors are listed across the market and farm stand materials, which suggests a roster with returning names as well as date-specific appearances.
Live music is built into several market dates, with Tim Snodgrass on May 23rd, Mason Van Stone on June 13th, June 27th, and July 25th, and Dallas Kay on August 8th; the season also includes a Fall Fest.
No dogs are allowed, which is the clearest visit detail to plan around. The market season runs June through September, and individual market pages show a 9am to 1pm window at Veterans Memorial Park, 612 4th Street in Cheney. If you are comparing addresses, the market materials also list 609 2nd Street as a visitor fact, so it helps to orient around Veterans Memorial Park and the Cheney Rodeo Building area named in the market’s materials. Restrooms are marked unavailable in the visit details. For vendors, setup begins at 7:30 am and everyone must be out of the park by 2 pm.
SNAP/EBT is accepted at Cheney Farmers Market, giving shoppers a documented way to use food benefits during the season. The market also notes clear payment methods in its visitor details, though the published materials specifically confirm SNAP rather than listing every payment type individually.
Live music is listed for multiple market dates; non-profits can have free booths.

Been going here since they open I go here every week and almost every day. Super clean. Nice staff. Music makes me laugh when I see people dancing outside and in store.
Super dudes, making a living selling whatever you want. Cheapest beer in Cheney. These are guys trying to live the American Dream!!!! They ask what you want, and they get it done!!! Cheaper than anybody else in town. Voodoo Ranger!!!! Mandu is the Dude!!!!
This little store is great, they have a wide variety of products for sale, they even have the only nacho machine in Cheney so that is a huge plus. The staff members also give really great recommendations.
Decent prices and decent selection of snacks and products. Can see myself stopping by for little things after every store has closed for the night since this market is open 24/7. Slurpee and milkshake station could use a good wipe down throughout the day but other than that cool little market.
Staff is always super friendly and they have everything I need. It’s nice that we finally got a nice store like this in Cheney!
