Farmers Market
Longview, Texas
Historic Longview Farmers Market runs in Longview from March through November, gathering growers, bakers, ranch vendors, prepared-food sellers, and craft makers in one Saturday market. The mix leans practical and wide-ranging: fruits and vegetables from farms and backyard growers, pastured meats and eggs, bouquets and plants, baked goods, soaps, spice mixes, popcorn, pottery, and rotating artists all appear in the vendor roster. That breadth gives this market a from-produce-to-household-goods feel rather than a produce-only stop.
Red Moon Farm shows how broad the lineup can be here, appearing in fruits and vegetables, flowers and plants, and apothecary offerings. Across the market, the vendor list stretches from raw ingredients to ready-to-eat foods and handmade goods, so a single lap can cover groceries, gifts, and household items.
The calendar section is active, with monthly and weekly views posted for market scheduling.
No dogs are allowed, which is the clearest policy detail to factor into a Saturday visit. The market operates at 105 West Cotton Street and is identified as being at the corner of High and Cotton Streets, a useful landmark if you are driving into downtown Longview. Restrooms are listed as unavailable, so plan that stop before you arrive. Payment methods are presented clearly by the market, which helps when you are splitting a trip between produce, meat, baked goods, and nonfood vendors. The market season runs March through November, and the Saturday selling window is 7:30 to 11:30 in the morning, making this an early-day errand rather than an all-afternoon stop.

I love it there. All the vendors were great and the customers all seemed quite friendly. I only expected produce, but there was a good variety of items to look at and purchase.
First time visitor and loved every minute of it! From the Sunshine Summer Strawberry jelly by the Caribbean chick to Mrs. Beulah's Banana Nut Bread, it was a great experience. I got an unexpected treat from the little guy who sold me the mustard greens..he prayed with me as I had just had surgery at the Regional Hospital. What a great way to decompress on a Saturday morning. I will visit again!
We caught the last weekend of the season, but we will be back next year when we are in town for sure. There are many great vendors from a leather goods maker, a regenerative meat rancher, a chemical free produce farmer, an Indian cuisine shop, and so many other great options for almost anything you might want from a Farmer's Market and more. Highly recommend supporting local farmers and artisans anyway and here's a great place to help support some fantastic ones in East Texas!
This place has a great atmosphere with live music and lots of local vendors. I especially loved the Czech Please kolaches and cinnamon rolls. I can’t wait to go back and get more of her stuff!
My family loves visiting the Farmers Market. This morning we found muscadine grapes and some amazing baklava along with some beautiful purple grasses to start our fall decorating outside.
