Farmers Market
Gallatin, Tennessee
Gallatin Farmers Market carries a mission-driven thread alongside its weekly shopping, with the market’s broader orbit tied to nonprofit leadership recognized by Nashville NFocus Magazine and the Nashville Business Journal. On Saturdays from May through September, that civic energy meets a vendor lineup that leans heavily toward bakers, beverage makers, florals, candles, paper goods, and farm names rather than a produce-only setup. The result is a market that reads as both shopping trip and downtown ritual, shaped by the historic Gallatin square and a roster that mixes farm vendors with makers and prepared-food businesses.
The vendor mix here skews broad and handcrafted, with multiple bakeries, drink businesses, florals, home goods, and farm sellers sharing the same market footprint. Expect a market where bread, pies, flowers, candles, coffee, and farm names all appear in the same pass down the aisle.
No dogs are allowed, which is the detail most likely to change a Saturday plan. The market runs at 160 W Franklin St in Gallatin and follows a Saturday schedule from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm during a May-to-September season. Restrooms are not available on site, so plan that stop before you arrive. Payment methods are clearly communicated by the market, which helps if you like to sort out how you’ll pay before heading downtown. With bakeries, drinks, florals, farms, candles, pet food, and paper goods all represented, this is a market where shoppers may want a tote with a little range rather than one built only for produce.
Location: across from the Gallatin Fire Department at 160 W. Franklin Street; vendors are local farmers and small business owners; products must be locally farm-raised or produced; market is seasonal.

I just love being able to go to a farmers' market in my own town. This one is not giant but has everything you need. Usually baked goods, local honey. Always beautiful produce, fresh coffee and handmade soaps. Can't wait for the season to begin!
I love this market. The vendors are wonderful, the selection varies a lot but there is always so many great things to find. We love Jus' Jerky and Scent of the Sun soaps. This week there was fresh popped flavored popcorn, fresh pesticide free blueberries, always local honey, living greens, and so much more. Highly recommend that you visit if you live in the area. We love supporting our local businesses.
It was awesome. First time there today and I didn't want to leave. Coffee, vegan soap, plants and herbs, and many other homemade goods. Bring cash cause it's a hit or miss when you try to pay with card. I had a wonderful time and will be back!
Make sure to visit Scent of Sun soap stall. The most beautiful soap I have ever seen. An array of unique scents. I always buy extra because they make a great gift
Fun to visit, but surprised there wasn't much there. I was visiting from Arizona and ours are huge in comparison. I guess since it is so hard to grow things here, I expected TN to have bigger ones.
