Farmers Market
Travelers Rest, South Carolina
70
Travelers Rest Farmers Market is presented by Prisma Health, a partnership that anchors a Saturday market focused on fresh food, local goods, and direct connections between shoppers and producers. The market runs at Trailblazer Park, right off the Swamp Rabbit Trail, giving it a setting that ties a weekly shopping trip to one of Travelers Rest’s most recognizable public places. From May through September, the market brings together about 70 vendors on Saturday mornings, shaping a seasonal stop with a broad mix of farms, makers, and prepared-food businesses.
The market’s mission centers on connecting the community through fresh food, local goods, education, and hospitality while investing in the sustainability and resilience of local farmers and makers. That local emphasis is reinforced by its producer-only model, which gives retail access to locally grown food and locally made goods rather than a resale-heavy mix. The market also directs support beyond weekly sales: the TRFM Farmer Fund, launched in May 2023, was created to support farmers in the Upstate, and the Farm to Table dinner benefits that fund. On the vendor side, the market links sellers to programs such as Clemson Extension’s Food2Market and trainings from the South Carolina Small Business Development Center, showing an investment in the businesses behind the booths as well as the products on the tables.
The mix here leans heavily toward growers, food producers, and market businesses that show up elsewhere in the market’s dinners, tastings, and seasonal programming. Even without a posted master product list, the named vendors and event partners sketch out a market with farm ingredients, baked goods, mushrooms, shrimp, meat, flowers, and garden starts in the same orbit.
The market calendar adds texture around the shopping itself, with recurring events including Apple Fest, Folk Craft Day, the Tomato Sandwich Taste Off, the Kids Bike Parade, and the Scottish Games Preview. At Travelers Rest Farmers Market, one clear thread is how often the market turns farm products into public events. The Tomato Sandwich Taste Off pulls in names like Rise Bakery, Fireforge Brewery, Camilla Kitchen, Urban Wren, and Humble Roots around one summer staple, while the Farm to Table dinner stretches that same idea into a meal built with ingredients from vendors including Lukens Land and Cattle, Wet Knot Farms, Broadwater Shrimp Co., and Darkspore Mushrooms. That pattern continues with themed dates like Apple Fest, Folk Craft Day, and the Scottish Games Preview with Greenville Pipes and Drums, giving the market a season shaped by specific foods and local traditions rather than a generic weekly routine.
No dogs are allowed at this market under City of Travelers Rest rules, so that policy may change your plan before you head to Trailblazer Park. The market takes place at 115 Wilhelm Winter Street in Trailblazer Park, right off the Swamp Rabbit Trail, which makes it easy to pair with a walk or bike ride on the trail. It runs on Saturdays only, and the listed visitor amenities note that restrooms are not available. If you are visiting outside the main season, the market has also hosted winter pop-up markets in February and March along with a Christmas Market and Small Business Saturday programming.
SNAP/EBT is accepted at Travelers Rest Farmers Market, an important detail for shoppers planning to use food benefits. The market also shares clear payment information for visitors, which helps when you’re deciding how to pay across different vendors. Seniors may also encounter information connected to the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program through partners including the USDA, the South Carolina Department of Agriculture, and Senior Action in Greenville County.
Dogs are not allowed at the farmers market per the City of Travelers Rest. The market is located at Trailblazer Park (235 Trailblazer Drive, Travelers Rest SC 29690).

Sep 2025. We made a quick trip to see the baby this weekend. She showed us around her hometown Farmers market. We got jelly, coffee, bread, and samples. Mostly enjoyed watching the people and visiting with each other. Nancy Zack Marjie Eden and me. Liv was working hard that morning then joined us later for lunch at home, Where we added tomatoes from her garden.
Great farmers market with great selection of local produce, foods, and local made items( ex. Candles, metal and leather goods, pet snacks, beer, etc.) lLive music with open areas for seating. Easy access to parking. The vendors are welcoming and knowledgeable. The market is easy to navigate and vendor booths are visible and accessible. Large selection of home baked goodies. Can’t wait to visit and taste the summer flavors!
The best farmer's market in upstate South Carolina! They have a huge selection of vendors but most are food and not cheap crafts. We get all of our breads and many of our fruits and veggies on a weekly basis from the market. There's plenty of parking on both sides of the park and clean public restrooms. There's also a ATM on site in case you need cash during the market.
We loved the farmer's market. We were very impressed with the variety of options and the set up. Definitely a perfect Saturday morning activity while in the area and a blessing to the community.
Easily our most favorite farmers market in the general area. The event is very well organized and presented to make walking through the place enjoyable. We have already found a few favorite vendors for dips, meat and cheeses. I would suggest getting there on the early side as some of the vendors sell out of the popular items early.
