Farmers Market
Media, Pennsylvania
Media Farmers Market is managed by Evergreen Events, giving this weekly Sunday market a clearly defined organizer behind the schedule and on-site operations. The market runs in Media on N. Edgmont Street between Media Elementary and Barrall Field, a setup that places it in a recognizable neighborhood corridor rather than inside a parking lot or isolated fairground. Its current season stretches from April 12 through November, with the market continuing to identify itself as year-round while highlighting the growing season as the main Sunday run.
N. Edgmont Street, between Media Elementary and Barrall Field, gives this market a location tied directly to everyday town landmarks instead of a destination built only for special events. That matters because the market’s own setup includes a Manager’s Tent for Community Tables, making room for more than transactions alone within the regular Sunday footprint.
The market also points visitors to the Manager’s Table for a Bag Swap and for volunteer opportunities, which adds a practical reuse program and a way for residents to participate in running the market itself. Mary and Linda are named contacts for those volunteer opportunities, another sign that the market’s operations are organized through specific local coordinators rather than an anonymous inbox.
The market materials emphasize the weekly Sunday format and a regularly updated vendor lineup, but they do not publish a product-by-product roster in the accessible materials here. One visitor described “a nice variety of vendors,” and another noted leaving with “tasty treats,” which gives some sense of the mix shoppers encounter on market day.
The current event calendar centers on the 2026 growing season, which runs every Sunday from April 12 through November. The market is also closed on Sunday, April 5, for Easter.
No dogs are allowed, which is the clearest visit-planning rule to know before heading over. The market takes place at State & Gayley Streets, and the market materials also place it on N. Edgmont Street between Media Elementary and Barrall Field, so those nearby landmarks are the most useful way to orient yourself on arrival.
Restrooms are marked unavailable, so plan that part of your visit before you arrive. If you want on-site information, community table details, or the bag swap, head to the Manager’s Tent or Manager’s Table once you’re there. For people interested in helping out, Mary and Linda are the named contacts for volunteer opportunities through the market email address.
The market encourages shoppers and producers to go plastic free and offers a bag swap at the Manager’s Table.

Great farmers market with a nice variety of vendors. I've been coming here every weekend this summer and I really look forward to is every Sunday. Everyone MUST get their olive oil from Byrsa or at least stop by for a sample!! Seriously it's the best I've ever had and the owner is fantastic!
I always find something that improves a meal or makes it more nuttiness. It’s always fun and interesting to talk to venders …I always return home with tasty treats both nutritious and delicious !
Great place to buy fresh veggies (even in winter!), eggs, prepared foods and bread. Especially awesome to find the @Mediterra line of vinegar, oils, capers, spreads, sauces - amazing delicacies, pure, unbelievably delicious, and a little of all their good stuff goes a long way because it is such super high quality and robust flavors - hard to find such extraordinary products in stores.
Farmer Faith has fuits and vegetables that are not commonly found in the US, grown in Lancaster. I was thrilled to see them at her stand!
This market and all the vendors are fantastic, bringing the most fresh and unique products!! We especially love visiting Ali who brings Mediterra products. Each week we are excited to see him and learn about the different flavor profiles and origins of the products he offers. You will not find a better olive oil anywhere! We have tried many of his other sauces and dips--all of which are fresh ingredients with no additives. They expand my family's palates and enjoyment of food. We would highly recommend visiting all the vendors at this market, but your other foods won't be complete without the...
