Farmers Market
Bird-In-Hand, Pennsylvania
Bird-in-Hand Farmers Market in Bird-In-Hand brings together a broad Lancaster County-style mix under one roof, with fresh produce, meats, breads, candies, coffee, pretzels, gifts, and handmade goods all represented by named vendors. The lineup leans heavily into Pennsylvania Dutch specialties, from shoofly pie and whoopie pies to jams, pickles, quilts, and wooden crafts. It has been family owned and operated for more than 30 years, giving the market a long-running presence in this stretch of Old Philadelphia Pike. If you want a market visit that mixes grocery staples with lunch counters, sweets, and souvenir-style shopping, this one covers all of those lanes in a single stop.
The strongest thread here is the overlap between pantry shopping and Pennsylvania Dutch prepared foods. You can pick up year-round produce, meats, baked goods, coffee, condiments, and snacks, then drift into crafts, leather goods, quilts, and Lancaster County souvenirs without changing buildings.
No dogs are allowed, so that is the first detail to factor into your visit plans. The market also notes plenty of free parking with easy access, which matters here because the stop is designed for more than a quick produce pickup; the vendor mix includes lunch food, bakery counters, candy, coffee, gifts, and household goods alongside farm-market staples. The address is 2710 Old Philadelphia Pike in Bird-In-Hand, and the market phone number is (717) 393-9674. Restrooms are not listed among the visitor amenities, and payment methods are not clearly stated in the market details, so plan accordingly.

Other than being super busy....duh it was a Saturday they have anything and everything you could possibly want or desire. From fresh Amish bread, vegetables, pretzels and hand made housewares. Reasonably priced and a meat and cheese selection to absolutely die for!!! Would highly recommend anyone in the area should definitely take the time to stop and give yourself an hour or more to browse.
Stopped by here to pick up some jars of pickled eggs and onion relish for my brother. The hot food sold from one of the spots in here was delicious. Like a home cooked meal to go. Roast beef, carrots, and mashed potatoes. Ill take that any day over fast food.
Amazing place to find all your produce needs! We loved getting fresh rolled butter and other items like fresh berries, honey, and other household goods. I wish I lived closer bc I would do all my weekly shopping here.
Cute market that’s bigger than it looks! The chocolate covered bacon was amazing! The burger was really good also! Shoo-fly pie and home-made root beer all delicious. I’d go back for more. The people are so friendly! The artwork is cute and the crafted item are gorgeous!
First time ever at this market. Went on a Friday afternoon so it wasn't overly crowded. We were able to take our time looking. The " Uncle Leroy" fudge is so delicious. They offered me a sample and that reeled me into buying some ( not sorry).
