Farmers Market
Tigard, Oregon
Tigard Farmers Market has been bringing farmers, community members, and non-profits together since 1993, with a stated focus on produce, plants, flowers, and weekly nonprofit booth space that ties shopping to local giving. That mission shows up in how the market talks about food education too, including its Market Sprouts Kids Club, which aims to help children take part in their local food system and enjoy nutritious foods. In downtown Tigard, this reads as a market with a practical grocery side and a civic side at the same time, rather than a stop built only around errands or only around entertainment.
The vendor roster stretches well beyond raw produce, with orchards, berry farms, mushrooms, cheese, fish, baked goods, prepared foods, drinks, pantry items, flowers, body products, and crafts all on the current list. That mix makes Tigard useful for a full market bag rather than a single-purpose stop.
There are no restrooms listed for the market, which is the detail most likely to shape how long you plan to stay. The market sets up at Burnham Street at Main Street in Tigard and runs on Sundays, so timing matters if this is part of a broader weekend downtown stop. Dogs are welcome, which makes it easier to fold the market into a walk with your pet rather than treat it as a separate errand. Tigard Farmers Market also frames itself around weekly nonprofit booth space and food-system education, including Market Sprouts Kids Club, so alongside shopping you may encounter community-oriented programming woven into the morning.
SNAP benefits are accepted at Tigard Farmers Market. The market also provides SNAP benefits materials among its shopper resources, alongside canning, gardening, and cooking information, which signals that food access is part of the market’s regular shopper support. Payment methods are clearly identified by the market, which helps when you are planning purchases across produce, prepared foods, and pantry staples.
Well-behaved small dogs are allowed on a leash and must be kept close and away from vendor booths and food. Vendors may not have animals at the market. The market information booth is used for Oregon Trail Card (EBT) token purchases.

The Tigard Farmers Market is a cool spot to check out all the different vendors and see what they've got. There's a ton of food and other stuff to buy. You can learn about the local sellers and what they offer. It can get a bit crowded, though.
Great Farmers Market that is close by and has tons of vendors. It’s a super fun to walk around and look at all of the items and find some things to buy. I will be back next week!!
Some vendors are kind of rude and don’t acknowledge you. The main produce stand though is my favorite place to get fresh veggies. Best prices.
I moved here in November and was anxiously awaiting May 5 for the opening of the market. It was really fun, bought neat things from vendors, like vinegars, cheeses, pup treats etc. and had killer lunch from one of the food trucks! Can't wait to go back, and for fruits and vegetables to be plentiful!
My experience was at the German Wursthaus food truck in, and they make this park best place in Portland! Great wursts, and the attendants really enjoy their work. A pleasure to patronize this establishment! The fountain is great for kids, too. Open until around sunset.
