Farmers Market
Newport, Oregon
60
At Hwy 101 and Angle St., Newport Farmer's Market gathers a notably broad mix of growers, food makers, artists, and specialty vendors in one coastal stop. The market runs from March through November, with a vendor roster that reaches 60 businesses and includes everything from blueberries and flowers to seafood, sourdough, pottery, pet accessories, and knife sharpening. That range gives this market a distinct shape: locally grown and locally crafted are presented side by side, so a produce run can easily turn into a wider browse through baked goods, pantry items, and handmade work.
The vendor mix here stretches well beyond a produce-only lineup. Newport Farmer's Market combines farm stands, prepared foods, coastal products, drinks, household makers, and craft booths, so the walk through the market feels varied from table to table.
The biggest planning detail is the season: Newport Farmer's Market runs from March through November, with the current vendor materials also describing the season as running from 3/28 to 11/21. Dogs are welcome, which can matter if the market is part of a longer walk through town. Restrooms are not available on site, so that is worth factoring in before you arrive. If you want the widest look at the market, plan for more than a quick produce stop: the roster spans around 60 vendors and includes farms, bakeries, seafood, drinks, art, pottery, textiles, and service booths.
SNAP/EBT is accepted at Newport Farmer's Market, and the market also participates in the Double Up Food Bucks Program. That makes this one of the more useful stops on the coast for shoppers planning to use benefits while buying directly from market vendors.
The market is described as family friendly and dog friendly. Dogs are welcome in a pet-friendly space as long as they are well-mannered, up to date on licensing and vaccinations, and kept on a 6 ft non-retractable leash. The market asks that there be no solicitation on site.

That Newport Farmers Market was a cool spot I found when I was around. I went to check out all the neat and unique stuff people were selling. There were tons of food stalls too, plus lots of homemade stuff.
Best flowers! Favorite earrings and candles, produce is always beautiful and my favorite tacos in town when they show up! Everyone/everything else is a bonus ❤️❤️❤️ it's a small market, but we are in a small town. I think it's perfect for Newport.
I was in town visiting and this is the best event ev-er! Music, food/breakfast, farm fresh goods and local vendors selling unique items! A must when visiting Newport!
Many vendors offering every imaginable thing from fresh produce to hand crafted gifts. Prices are higher than big box store, but quality is far beyond the big box. Highly recommend.
Our family of 5 always loves visiting the Newport Farmer's Market, especially during the summer months when it is outdoors. Plenty of vendors and food carts. We've been there when there is even a live band playing.
