Farmers Market
Minot, North Dakota
At the corner of 3rd Ave SW and Broadway, North Prairie Farmers Market sets up its summer market in central Minot with Saturday shopping from June through October. The market’s vendor mix leans heavily into food and handmade goods, from garden produce and breads to barbecue, lemonade, herbal teas, and woodworked home decor. That combination gives this stop a practical rhythm: produce for the week, baked treats to carry home, and ready-to-eat options if you want lunch while you browse.
North Prairie Farmers Market emphasizes fresh, local, and handmade goods, with priority given to farms, food businesses, locally grown food, and products made with local ingredients. For shoppers, that means a market where produce, baked goods, prepared food, drinks, body products, and handcrafted housewares all appear in the same compact stop.
No dogs are allowed, which is the clearest policy detail to factor into your visit plans. The market runs seasonally in Minot at the corner of 3rd Ave SW and Broadway, giving it a defined downtown-style meeting point rather than a rotating site. Restrooms are not available, so shorter visits may be easier to plan around that limitation. The market also has a Tuesday schedule in addition to its Saturday Broadway setup, so it can work either as a weekday produce stop or a weekend errand run depending on when you shop.
SNAP/EBT is accepted at North Prairie Farmers Market, which matters here because the vendor roster includes staple produce alongside breads and other food vendors. Payment methods are presented clearly for visitors, making this a market where shoppers can plan purchases with less guesswork before arriving.
Kids Market is for youth ages 18 and under; participants must grow or make their own items, and kids 15 and under must have adult supervision. Kids Market hours are 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM with set-up 10:00 – 10:30 AM, and participants bring their own table and setup materials.

Great selection of fresh fruits and veggies. The homemade treats are outstanding as well! It has moved, because they're doing construction on their former space -- its located just south of McDonalds near Gate City Bank
It was a exciting to visit and see their items. I picked the bar of soap and a jar of syrup. There was also a booth that was selling salsa on tacos, which is ok if you like it hot, hot and hot.
Great selection of produce, baked goods and more. The veggies are fresh and much better quality than what you find in Walmart. Stacy's breads has the best snickerdoodle cookies and her bacon cheddar loaf is fabulous.
Totally enjoyed my 1st experience here. I plan to go back for more fresh homegrown and homeade treats!
Had a lot of fun looking at all the booths and items up for sale.
