Farmers Market
Wilmington, North Carolina
Ogden Park Farmers Market is part of the same orbit as Cool Wilmington, one of the organizations linked alongside the market through Riverfront Farmers Market materials. In Wilmington, that gives this Saturday market a distinctly local frame: it sits within a network that also connects to the City of Wilmington, Riverfront Farmers Market Inc., and regional food and business partners rather than standing apart as an isolated pop-up. The market runs at 615 Ogden Park Dr. from April through November, with a weekly Saturday schedule from 8am to 1pm, rain or shine. For shoppers looking for a recurring neighborhood market rather than a one-off event, that combination of a fixed park address and a steady season shapes the visit.
Riverfront Farmers Market Inc. and the City of Wilmington are both named in the market’s materials, tying Ogden Park Farmers Market to local civic and organizational infrastructure in Wilmington. That matters because the market is presented through the same framework that also names North Carolina Dept. of Agriculture, NC Dept. Of Revenue, FDA, and Square, placing it inside a practical network of agriculture, regulation, and payment support rather than treating it as an informal roadside setup.
The market’s connection to Edible Port City Magazine also roots it in Wilmington’s food media landscape. A newsletter sign-up specifically for Riverfront Farmers Market extends that local loop, giving regular shoppers a direct way to follow updates through email and social channels. Together, those named partners and communication channels show a market with visible ties to the city’s food system and public-facing local organizations.
The strongest documented picture here is organizational rather than vendor-specific: Ogden Park Farmers Market is presented as part of the Riverfront Farmers Market operation, with named programs, partners, and seasonal events around it. That means shoppers can expect a market shaped by an established Wilmington market organization, even though individual vendor names are not listed in the published materials provided.
No dogs are allowed, and restrooms are not available, two details that can change how long you plan to stay and who comes along. The market operates Saturdays from 8am to 1pm during an April-to-November season, so it is a seasonal stop rather than a year-round routine.
The schedule is described as rain or shine, which makes this a market worth treating as a fixed Saturday plan even when the weather shifts. Payment information is marked as clear in the visit details, and Square is named among the market’s partners, suggesting an organized checkout setup around accepted payment methods. For ongoing updates, the Riverfront Farmers Market newsletter is positioned as the main way to stay current, with email plus Facebook and Instagram called out together.
Admission is free. Market runs rain or shine; high winds or lightning may cause cancellation for safety. Check the Facebook page for most current information.

My daughter and I rode our bicycles here. We were pleasantly surprised by this park and all the different activities. There are available. There was also a skate park there.
Discovered the dog park. Great place to run my energetic dog. The "field" is completely covered in sand so it's like taking your dog to the beach. It was windy, so at times the sand blew in my face. Bottom line is the dog park is awesome. Just watch it on windy days. Make sure you have sunglasses on to help keep the sand out of your eyes.
The international Latino festival is always the first part of November, with hundreds of booths and food trucks and live music on the sound stage by the little lake. Riding ones bicycle is the best way to visit, but lots of parking at the skate park.
It's a great place to walk or bicycle. There's also a skateboard area which seems to attract an awful lot of mostly young people. There's a beautiful pond which often has turtles and geese. The grounds are kept very well and of course there are baseball fields and soccer fields. In addition, there are shelters which can be rented from the county for a very reasonable fee.
Great park with lots of variety. Dog park, playground, baseball and soccer fields, tennis courts, skate park and a beautiful lake with lots of fish and ducks! I love coming here with my dogs in the afternoon and enjoying a nice evening!
