High Country Farmers Market brings a small Boone vendor mix that leans toward handmade foods, garden goods, and craft work rather than a long roster of lookalike stalls. The market’s current lineup ranges from scratch-made baked goods and gourmet pasta to spring vegetables, lettuces, plant material, eggs that may be available, and folk art from working studios. That gives this market a distinctly High Country feel: homestead growers and small makers selling products tied closely to their own kitchens, gardens, and studios. For shoppers in Boone, it reads as a compact stop where prepared foods and artisan goods share space with seasonal farm offerings.
Sweeter by the Season, The Pasta Wench, and the homestead-focused vendors give this market a mix built as much around made-from-scratch food and small-scale production as around raw produce. Crafts are part of that mix too, with one vendor focused on beaded jewelry, prints, postcards, and posters tied to market photography.
The overall selection is narrow but distinct: baked goods with rotating specialties, pasta and sauce for ready-to-cook meals, and a few vendors rooted in homestead growing and handcraft.
No dogs are allowed, which is the clearest visit rule to factor in before heading over. The market is at 178 King Street in Boone, a central in-town address that makes it easier to pair a stop here with other errands or downtown time. Restrooms are not available on site, so plan accordingly if you are building this into a longer outing. Payment methods are not clearly stated, and SNAP/EBT details are not listed here, so shoppers should come prepared with a flexible payment option. Given the current vendor mix, this market makes the most sense if you are specifically shopping for baked goods, pasta and sauce, garden plants, spring vegetables, eggs that may be available, or handmade crafts rather than expecting a broad general market spread.

I love shopping local but find it difficult to compare prices at a farmer’s market. The Food Hub changes that! The website is easy to navigate, and makes it possible to compare prices of similar items. So thankful for you guys! You make it so easy to shop local!
I Love the ability to get farm fresh food, sustainably grown, and support local farmers. The food is great and easily picked up at the Hub. Staff/volunteers are also kind and helpful at pick up!
This is where it’s at, folks. All the stuff you can get at the farmers market without the hassle of the farmers market. Just pick what you want online then show up on Wednesday and it’s all ready for you. This is my favorite way to buy local food.
I appreciate being able to browse dozens of local growers and artisans online, think over what to buy, and pick up delicious produce and meat all together at one spot (just off campus and downtown). I was really excited to fine local dried beans and milk. The prices are great, and the online order form and pick up run really smoothly. I still love a good farmer's market, but this is honestly more convenient a lot of weeks.
An absolutely exceptional group of people with an exceptional group of products! Wednesday is my favorite day of the week! High Country Food Hub is an asset to everyone in our community!
