Rye, New York
Rye Farmers Market operates with Down to Earth Markets, the same organization that lists The Old Stone House among its partners. In Rye, the market sets up at Theodore Fremd Avenue and Purchase Street, placing it directly by Purchase St Stores and in a downtown street grid that is easy to identify once you know those two cross streets. The listing points to a Sunday market in Rye rather than a multi-day schedule, giving this stop a once-a-week rhythm in the center of town. That simple setup matters if you plan errands around it: one morning window, one recognizable location, and a parking lot directly behind the stores off Theodore Fremd Ave.
Rye Chamber of Commerce appears among the organizations connected with Down to Earth Markets, tying this market to a named Rye institution rather than to a generic event circuit. Down to Earth Markets also states that prospective vendors must have primary products that meet its mission standards, and that any resale items require pre-approval and can be limited to specific markets. That policy shapes what shoppers encounter in Rye because it sets boundaries on who can sell and what can appear at the stand. The result is a market defined less by volume claims than by market rules and local placement: a Rye location on Theodore Fremd Ave, alongside Purchase St Stores, organized through a market operator with explicit participation requirements.
Parking is in the lot off Theodore Fremd Ave directly behind Purchase St Stores, which is the clearest arrival detail for this market and the one most likely to change how you approach downtown Rye on a Sunday morning. The market site itself is given as Theodore Fremd Avenue and Purchase Street, so drivers and walkers should orient to that intersection first and then use the rear lot behind the stores. Dogs are welcome, which may matter if a market trip is part of a longer neighborhood walk. Restrooms are not available on site. Payment methods are indicated as clear, though no single payment type is specified here. Because the market is listed only for Sundays from 8:30am to 1:00pm and only for April, timing matters more than extra amenities.
Dogs are welcome if they do not detract from a safe, pleasant, sociable and welcoming experience for all attendees; dog rules are referenced on the site.

Great market, Love Dr. Pickle, can get some good pie's, meat products, fish, fresh farm fruit's and vegetables. There is even a veteran that sharpens knives! Sometimes I just like to browse and see what grabs me.
This is a small farmers market with adequate parking. Most farmers are regulars and their produce is seasonal and fresh. Prices are reasonable. Occasional presenters are a delightful surprise- recently there was a chocolate stand and it was delicious - slow cocoa they call it. Go for the produce and expect occasional surprises.
Great little farmers market with a lot to offer from coffee to veggies, spirits and pies. There is also knife sharpening and other unique vendors for soaps, yarn, you name it.
Great variety of vendors to pick from, and everyone did a nice job keeping patrons safe during COVID. Produce, bread, coffee, wine, meats, fish, and more, all from local vendors.
Great food, great people! Great for a local family trip, do t forget to pick up your pickles and fresh sauerkraut!
