Farmers Market
Queensbury, New York
Queensbury Farmers Market brings a producer-only shopping model to its Saturday market, so the people behind the tables are the same ones growing, making, or preparing what they sell. In Queensbury, the market is held at the Sweet Basil parking lot on Route 9, giving shoppers a straightforward stop for a morning run through farm goods, prepared breakfast, and practical services. The market also shifts to winter hours of 9 a.m. to noon, with indoor winter operations noted in its market materials. That combination gives the market a clear identity: a Saturday market built around direct sales from producers, with a seasonal rhythm that still keeps the shopping pattern going.
The mix here leans toward direct-from-producer shopping with a few especially specific finds rather than a long generic catalog. Alongside food and farm offerings, the market also includes a sharpening service and a breakfast grill, which changes the feel of a visit from simple produce pickup to a more varied Saturday stop.
Music is part of the Saturday lineup as well, with scheduled performers including L.B. Walker, Donna Britton, Dave Moore, Mike Grazioso, Adirondack Song Dogs, Sean Lippin, Brandon Newell, Pam and Dave Tisch, Peter Burrall, and Jason Irwin.
SNAP shoppers should plan purchases carefully because the market notes that vendors do not provide cash change for EBT tokens, Double Up Food Bucks, or Fresh Connect Checks. Parking details are unusually specific: street parking is listed on Broad Street, South Street, Glen Street, and Hudson Avenue, and approved public lots include Elm Street Lot #1, Elm Street Lot #2, Exchange Street Lot, School Street Lot, and the Park Street garage. Accessible parking is available in Elm Street Lot #1, bike racks are available onsite, restrooms are available, and dogs are welcome. The market also identifies itself as an indoor market during winter operations.
SNAP/EBT is accepted at Queensbury Farmers Market. The market also notes an active token-and-incentive setup that includes Double Up Food Bucks and Fresh Connect Checks, with one important rule for planning purchases: vendors do not give cash change for EBT tokens, Double Up Food Bucks, or Fresh Connect Checks.
Street parking is available on Broad Street, South Street, Glen Street, and Hudson Avenue. Approved public lots include Elm Street Lot #1 (next to the old pavilion), Elm Street Lot #2 (behind The Bullpen), Exchange Street Lot, and School Street Lot (Hudson Headwaters Health Network owns two lots near the market, but only the School Street lot is approved for market parking). A parking garage on Park Street is also listed. Accessible parking is available in Elm Street Lot #1; bike racks are available onsite.
Rain or shine operation is stated. Portable and accessible restrooms are available near the band stage at the rear of the property. Bike racks are available onsite; visitors are asked to walk bikes inside the market area. Well-behaved, leashed pets are welcome. Warren County Zero Waste composting and recycling bins are located on the south side of the property.

Great place for fresh food, venders where great, very clean , great atmosphere for meeting friends listening to music and getting something to eat while meeting venders for fresh food and make sure you check out the fresh honey and tell Thomas Wells hello
Great farmers market. They have a wonderful selection of vendors. Prices vary from each vendor but are not overpriced. I just loved the flowers/arrangements that were available. I LOVED the sunflowers and had to purchase a bunch!!
I love going there the vegetables are fresh and i like just to go during the summer and good weather and support the local farmers i stead of the corporate crooks.
I always enjoy going down to the farmers market for fresh & local produce, cheese, meats & other products. The vendors are always helpful & friendly. There is a nice option to purchase market coins with your card if you don't have cash on you as well
One of my favorite places to go on Saturdays. Lovely atmosphere and some great farms that sell their produce here. Shout-out to: Pleasant Valley Farm, The Alleged Farm, Adirondack Mycology, Argyle Cheese Farmer, Battenkill Creamery, Food Florist, Mister Edge Knife Sharpening, and so many others..
