Farmers Market
Olean, New York
REAP Olean Farmers Market runs in Olean from May through October, gathering a notably broad mix of food vendors, farms, bakers, prepared food sellers, and craftspeople in one Saturday market. The vendor lineup ranges from sourdough loaves and fresh pasta to pasture-raised meats, maple syrup, tea blends, woodshop furniture, and handmade jewelry. That spread gives the market a practical rhythm: shoppers can pick up staple groceries, ready-to-eat breakfast or lunch, and a few nonfood finds in the same stop. One visitor summed it up as “a wonderful array of different vendors”.
Bread and baked goods make up a big share of the market’s identity, but the lineup goes well beyond pastry tables. Across the vendor roster, the strongest pattern is variety within a compact weekly stop: pantry basics, farm products, prepared food, body care, home goods, and handmade accessories all show up in the same market.
No dogs are allowed at the market, a detail that can change how you plan a Saturday stop. The market is held on Cinema Drive in Olean and runs once a week on Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm during the May-to-October season. Restrooms are not available on site, so it helps to plan that before arrival. Payment options are clearly identified at the market level, which is useful when you are buying across very different vendors in a single trip, from bakers and farms to crafters and prepared-food stalls.
SNAP/EBT is accepted at REAP Olean Farmers Market. Payment methods are also clearly communicated at the market level, which matters here because the vendor mix spans farm staples, baked goods, prepared food, and handmade products in one place.
