Farmers Market
Nyack, New York
Nyack Indoor Winter Farmers' Market sits within a Chamber effort focused on promoting local businesses and attracting customers to village shops, giving this market a clear place in Nyack’s broader economic life. That mission matters here because the market is tied to the same organization that runs a full calendar of village events, including the Nyack Farmers Market, Restaurant Week, and Main Street happenings. For shoppers, the result is a market connected to the rhythms of downtown Nyack rather than operating as a stand-alone stop.
The Chamber’s stated mission is to promote the interests of local businesses and attract visitors and customers to village shops, and this market fits directly into that purpose. In Nyack, that places the market alongside other Chamber-backed activity rather than outside it: the same calendar includes the farmers market, Springfest Street Fair, Restaurant Week, sidewalk sales, and seasonal Main Street events.
That connection gives the market a practical local role. A Thursday market in the Main Street parking lot brings regular foot traffic into the village core, close to Nyack’s shop and event district. The Chamber structure is also visible in the named leadership and staff behind its work, including President Roger Cohen, Executive Director Bill Batson, and Event Manager Mark Mangan.
This listing emphasizes the market’s place in Nyack’s event calendar and weekly schedule more than individual vendor names or product categories. What stands out most is the recurring Thursday setup and its location in the village center.
Other Chamber-programmed events around the village include Exotic Car Night on Main Street and Nyack Restaurant Week 2026 from April 13 to 19.
No dogs is the clearest visit rule to plan around here. If you usually bring a pet on errands, this market is one to approach differently. The market is associated with Nyack Center at 58 Depew Avenue, while the recurring Thursday farmers market is also described as taking place in the Main Street parking lot, so visitors should orient themselves to both references when planning arrival and pickup.
The schedule tied to the Thursday market shifts by season: 8am to 2pm from April to November and 9am to 1pm from December to March. The Chamber also notes the outdoor Thursday market runs rain or shine. Restrooms are not listed among visitor amenities, and parking information points to the Main Street parking lot setup itself rather than a separate lot or garage.
SNAP EBT is accepted, an important detail for shoppers planning to use food assistance benefits at the market. Payment methods are otherwise marked as clear for visitors, which suggests shoppers can expect posted guidance on how purchases are handled when they arrive.
The market is described as operating rain or shine and being held in the Main Street parking lot.

This is a wonderful community space that makes is space available to a myriad number of programs beyond their own to the people of Nyack and points beyond. Photos from: The Levins a Rally for Love.
My daughter has been attending the Nyack Center for years! The staff are like family! They're fun, responsible, caring, and always thinking of creative activities for the children! Don't be surprised to see the counselors playing along with them! The kids absolutely love that!!!!! 💖
