Farmers Market
New Lebanon, New York
501 State Route 20 is the home of Lebanon Valley Farmers Market, an open-air Sunday market in New Lebanon with a stated mix of produce, meats, jams, bread, eggs, maple syrup, and local artisans. The market has been scheduled on Sundays starting in May from 10 to 2pm, giving it a clear weekly rhythm for shoppers building a weekend stop around the Route 20 corridor. Its own description centers the market as open to the public and rooted in New Lebanon, with food staples and handmade goods sharing the same setting rather than splitting produce from artisan vendors.
Produce, meats, jams, bread, eggs, maple syrup, and local artisans are all named as part of the market mix, so the draw here is a compact Sunday shop that combines pantry staples with handmade goods in one stop. The named vendors currently highlighted lean toward artisan goods, while the market’s broader description points to a stronger farm-and-food range beyond those individual profiles.
One visitor described “a unique array of foods,” along with baked goods, packaged goodies from indie brands, produce, and summer raspberries, which fits the market’s food-and-artisan emphasis. Another visitor noted fresh breads and pastries plus other fresh and frozen products, reinforcing the sense that prepared and packaged items are part of the shopping mix too.
No dogs are allowed, a rule worth knowing before you head over with a pet. Parking is arranged to leave more room for shoppers: vendors are directed to park across the street so visitor parking stays available near the market. There is a bathroom in the shopping plaza on the second floor, which is useful if you are planning more than a quick pass through the market. The market is set up as an open-air farmers market and runs on Sundays from 10 to 2pm starting in May, so timing your visit inside that short weekly window matters. Vendor guidance also notes that tents are secured with blocks provided by the market, a small operational detail that underscores the outdoor setup.
SNAP/EBT is accepted at Lebanon Valley Farmers Market. The market’s visitor details also indicate that payment methods are clearly posted, which can make it easier to sort out how individual purchases are handled once you arrive. With staples such as produce, meats, bread, eggs, jams, and maple syrup in the stated mix, SNAP acceptance is especially relevant for shoppers planning a food-focused trip.
Vendors are asked to park across the street from the market to give visitors plenty of room for parking. A bathroom is located in the shopping plaza on the 2nd floor.

This is an amazing little store. They have a really neat produce walk-in cooler with well kept supply. The prices are reasonable the value and selection is really nice. Fresh breads & pastries. Really nice selection of other fresh and frozen products. Was not expecting how well thought out this small store is
Great market with a unique array of foods. It's our favorite stop on the way to The Clark. The baked goods are fantastic, but so are all the little packaged goodies from indie brands. And the produce never disappoints. In the summer time, we're known for grabbing a pint of raspberries to snack on during the ride. Highly recommend popping in and stuffing yourself silly! The folks are always super kind and warm as well!
This is my ideal food market !!!!! So cute, small but excellent array of items. Has mostly everything. Great local produce, dairy and meat. A few body care and handmade gifts items. Beautiful, well lit house, good customer service. All the things and more and happy !
Full selection of fresh meat, fruits and veggies in season, locally sourced (or, if not possible, selected from the best available elsewhere). The pastries and prepared foods are scrumptious, the pantry offerings helpful in times of need. Oh! and Aunt Debbie's red onion marmalade!
A treasure in New Lebanon. Great produce and a wide and wonderful array of groceries, including meat, fish, baked goods, beverages, ice cream and most everything you need - local when possible and always high quality. Terrific prepared foods to take home, and lunch on site many days. Also great people, and they work to keep prices affordable, support local farmers and businesses, and serve as a community center.
