Larchmont's Down to Earth Farmers Market is part of the same operator network that works with partners including Friends of Morningside Park, placing this Saturday market inside a wider Down to Earth Markets system with established community relationships. In Larchmont, the market is hosted by the Village of Larchmont in the Metro North upper lot off Chatsworth Ave, with parking entered via Myrtle Blvd. One visitor described the market as conveniently located close to the Metro-North station off Chatsworth Avenue, a detail that matters if you are planning a quick morning stop. The setup is straightforward: a regular Saturday market in a commuter-lot setting rather than a park or closed street.
The Village of Larchmont hosts this market in the Metro North upper lot, tying weekly shopping to a central local landmark rather than a destination far outside town. That placement off Chatsworth Ave, with entry via Myrtle Blvd, gives the market a specific Larchmont footprint shaped around existing village access and parking patterns. Down to Earth Markets also sets vendor standards that require primary products to be raised or made by the seller, while any resale items must be pre-approved and can be limited to specific markets. That policy points the market toward direct-sale farm and food businesses instead of a general retail mix. A recent visitor singled out Doc Pickle at the Larchmont location and called the market well organized, which adds one concrete snapshot of how the market operates on the ground.
Use the Metro North upper lot off Chatsworth Ave, and enter via Myrtle Blvd if you are driving; that routing is the detail most likely to affect arrival. Dogs are welcome, and restrooms are not available, two practical details that may shape how long you stay and who comes along. Payment methods are clearly posted at the market, which helps if you are deciding how much cash to carry versus other forms of payment. One visitor reported that popular wild-caught fish could sell out by 11am, while another noted grass-fed beef, pasture-raised pork and lamb, plus several vegetable booths with seasonal produce at the Larchmont location. Another visitor also described the market as well organized, reinforcing the appeal of arriving with a plan for parking, timing, and first stops. Questions and suggestions for Down to Earth Markets can be sent through its contact channels, including a listed phone number and vendorrelations@downtoearthmarkets.com email.
Dogs are welcome as long as they do not detract from the goal of providing a safe, pleasant, sociable and welcoming experience for all attendees; rules are referenced but not included in the scraped text.

03/30/24 0830 Down to Earth Markets is great because they have many markets you can attend locally over a Friday through Sunday depending on where you live. I was particularly happy with my visit to Doc Pickle today at the Larchmont location. Tom was an excellent salesperson. The market itself is well organized and conveniently located close to the Metro-North station off of Chatsworth Avenue.
There are two farmers that sell grass fed beef and pasture raised pork and lamb. There is also a few vegetable booths that sell seasonal vegetables. Get there early if you want fish because the fishmonger brings in wild caught popular fish that sells out by 11am.
A great farmers market in an easy to access location. I have loved being both a vendor and shopper at this market. There is plenty of free parking right next to the market and everyone is very friendly. There is a really good selection of local and organic foods. Plus a wide variety of goods and products to choose from, so everyone can find something they enjoy. Overall a great family or independent activity and yet another chance to buy local and support small businesses.
Wow! Packed with great vendors! Good times! Busy with lots of customers! Families, children, great food, with local #WestminsterDogShow strolling by. Of note: it's in a parking lot for Larchmont train station which means it's all on asphalt. Bring lots of water, stay hydrated; it gets hot. Remember your bags for purchases. & Stop by to see me at #noblepies ! Nous parlons francais. Wir sprechen deutsch. Yo habla espanol. Ik kann auch nederlands pratt. (Not sure about my spelling 😅)
Highly recommend- Excellent quality, friendly & passionate vendors, great vibes. We love that this is right in the neighborhood, everything from produce, dessert, & jewelry.
