John Jay Homestead Farm Market ties its Saturday shopping to the broader mission of Friends of John Jay Homestead, which invites members to join in fulfilling its mission. In Katonah, that gives the market a distinct frame: it is connected to a nonprofit historic site rather than operating as a stand-alone weekly market. The market is associated with John Jay Homestead at 400 Jay Street, placing it within the orbit of a site where Bedford House and the surrounding grounds remain central landmarks. That setting matters because the homestead’s public-facing work includes history, interpretation, and restoration, and the market sits alongside that larger institutional purpose.
Friends of John Jay Homestead anchors this market in Katonah through a mission tied to the homestead itself, inviting membership participation rather than treating the market as a purely transactional event. That gives the market a local role connected to preservation and interpretation at John Jay Homestead, where Bedford House is undergoing historic restoration work. The market is also woven into Katonah village logistics: the current market setup uses Lot 2 at 190 Katonah Ave, with parking in the lot and along Katonah Avenue, and a defined entrance at Coldwell Banker with exit at Katonah Art and Frame Shop. Those specifics place the market directly within the village street pattern rather than apart from it.
The posted material emphasizes the market as a recurring Saturday event with a member benefit built into the opening half hour, plus a seasonal calendar that names opening day and regular farm market dates. With no vendor roster published here, the clearest on-site offerings are the market event itself and its related programs.
Members get a plan-changing advantage here: Saturdays begin with a Members Only First Pick from 9:00am to 9:30am before the rest of the 9:00am to 2:00pm market window continues. For the current setup, the market is held in Lot 2 at 190 Katonah Ave in downtown Katonah village, not at the main homestead address alone, so navigation should be built around that village parking lot location. Parking is available in Lot 2, with additional parking on Katonah Avenue. The entrance is at Coldwell Banker and the exit is at Katonah Art and Frame Shop, which helps if you are orienting yourself on arrival. Dogs are welcome. Bedford House is currently closed for historic preservation and restoration work.
The 2026 Farm Market is held in Lot 2 (190 Katonah Ave) in downtown Katonah village. Parking is available in Lot 2, with additional parking on Katonah Avenue. Entrance is at Coldwell Banker and exit is at Katonah Art and Frame Shop.
Dogs are allowed, but must be kept on short leashes; owners are responsible for compensating vendors for lost products or damages. The market operates rain or shine and closes only for extreme weather.

A cute market with music, food, baked goods, and crafts. This year they added an expansive music show from School of Rock, as well as the first few weeks tents with crafts such as plates, clothing, and more. Hopefully as the summer goes on they host more of these types of things and bring in awesome vendors and people from around the county!
One of the nicest markets. On the beautiful John Jay Homestead property, a large assortment of vendors. Great offerings, even Mediterranean food, wood fired pizza, fresh produce, DONUTS! Market manager Vanessa is wonderful as well. Live music.
About 20 local vendors, great natural selection and plenty of parking and food. Perfect summer afternoon outing. Open until 2pm. Recommended
A trip to this market is like a mini vacation to the country. Personal favorites include fresh fish, cheese, and fresh baked sweets and breads.
Maybe we went on an off day but there was only a hand-full of vendors. The quality was good just not much selection or variety.
