Farmers Market
Delmar, New York
Delmar Farmers Market pairs a stated mission and history with a Saturday market that returns each season starting in May, giving the market a clear organizational backbone as well as a regular weekly rhythm in Delmar. The market also operates with a producer-only standard, a rule it describes as foundational to its mission, so the shopping mix is shaped around vendors who make or grow what they sell. That combination shows up in the roster: farms, bakeries, pantry makers, craftspeople, and community organizations all appear under one market name rather than as a loosely assembled pop-up.
Bulich’s Creekside Farm, Saratoga Apple, fin your fishmonger, and Warbler Brewery all appear on the same vendor roster, so the market reads as a broad weekly shop rather than a produce-only stop. The lineup also stretches into plants, prepared foods, baked goods, body care, and handmade work, with public-facing community tables mixed in alongside sellers.
The special-events calendar includes Opening Day, yoga sessions, a flower-seedling activity for Mother’s Day, High School Community Day, and a bird-feeder activity, all scheduled during market hours.
No dogs and no public restrooms are the two details most likely to affect a visit plan. The market is held at 332 Kenwood Ave in Delmar, and the current season note places it at Bethlehem Middle School. Saturday shopping runs from 9am to 1pm, with the season extending from May through December. The market also notes an outdoor season from May through October and an indoor season in November and December, so late-season visits may feel different from peak-summer ones while still staying within the same market calendar.
SNAP/EBT is accepted at Delmar Farmers Market, an important detail if you are planning a grocery-focused stop. The market also clearly identifies payment information as part of its visitor details, which helps when building a shopping list across farms, prepared-food vendors, and pantry sellers.
No dogs allowed except service dogs (as stated on the home page).

Great market. Always, clean, easy parking, vendors are very nice. Bring your bags. Generally all local plants/flowers, produce, breads, 🍯, eggs, meats, fish, jewelry, premade meals, sweets, coffee, empanadas, Garden Bistro, art, face masks, chair massage, and I'm sure more! Always a couple unique vendors, live music and tables to sit and relax. Worth the visit. Also available in Tuesdays, but Saturday is definitely the more complete market.
Great market , lots of fresh veggies!!! I was wondering if any one turned un a pair of glaases. Silver round glasses in a blue soft case. If any one found them please let me know. Thank you.
Always a fun way to spend an hour or 2. The vendors are very friendly and the variety of items to choose from is extensive. Today netted me beautiful new earrings, 2 kinds of fresh cheeses, an assortment of veggies and herbs and a bottle of something new to try at Happy Hour.
This is a nice farmer's market! Lots of variety, great produce, at least two places to buy bread, cheese places, etc. Plus there are stands selling food for lunch. I recommend the empanadas!
I love our local Farmer's Market! Best turkeys for Thanksgiving from Franzen's, best produce, soaps, fish from Fin, and awesome Mediterranean food to eat at a picnic table or take home.
