Farmers Market
Clinton, New York
Clinton Farmers Market is presented through the Clinton Chamber of Commerce, tying the weekly market to an organization that supports businesses, nonprofits, and local economies in the Village of Clinton, the Town of Kirkland, and surrounding areas. The market runs at 20 West Park Row in Clinton from June through October, with Thursday hours from 10 am to 4 pm. That setup gives the market a clear village-center rhythm: a daytime Thursday stop where produce, prepared food, flowers, bread, maple, meat, and handmade goods all appear in one place.
The Clinton Chamber of Commerce links this market to its broader work supporting local economies in Clinton, Kirkland, and nearby areas, so the market sits inside an existing network of small businesses and nonprofit activity rather than standing apart from it. The vendor roster reinforces that local-market role with farm products, prepared foods, and handmade goods listed side by side, from certified organic fruit, vegetables, and eggs at Kingfisher Farm to maple products from Shaw’s Maple Products and fresh mushrooms from Fruit of the Fungi. The calendar also pulls in local institutions and performers, including Kirkland Town Library storytime and student groups such as the Clinton High School Orchestra and Clinton Elementary School Band.
The mix here leans broad rather than narrow: farms with vegetables, eggs, meat, and flowers share space with lunch vendors, bakers, sweet shops, and makers. That means a Thursday visit can cover dinner ingredients, a ready-to-eat meal, and pantry or household goods in one pass.
No dogs are allowed, and restrooms are not available, two details that can change how you plan a Thursday stop. The market runs at 20 West Park Row from 10 am to 4 pm on Thursdays between June and October. If you are visiting with kids, there are youth-vendor dates through the Kirkland Town Library on June 27, July 25, and August 22, with listed rain dates of July 11, August 8, and August 29. The setting also includes a gazebo and the Clinton Village Green, both named as part of the market environment.
SNAP/EBT is accepted at the market, and Fruit of the Fungi is specifically marked as accepting SNAP in the vendor list. The market also indicates that payment methods are clearly identified, which helps when you are mixing produce shopping with prepared food and craft purchases.
Live entertainment is scheduled in the gazebo; buskers may perform if registered and accepted by the market manager. The market provides power to the performance location; performers must provide their own PA system.

It's one of the best Farmer's markets I've been to. Large variety of vendors, they have all kinds of goods to choose from; homegrown to homemade. There were food tents as well, offering tamales, meatballs, hotdogs, and gyros, not to mention baked goods for your sweet tooth! There were a few lemonade stands, smoothie bar, iced coffee, and gelato as well. Oh, and live music!Definitely not your typical farmer's market.
This is a must do for my family and I in the summer! Lots of vendors, my personal favorites include -The Jones Family Farm, for their goat cheeses -Heidelberg, for their fresh breads! Mmm! & Jake's Bakes, for her homemade dog treats that my dogs love!
My family loves going to the Clinton Farmer's market to eat, shop, and meet up with friends! There is a fantastic variety of items offered including soap, honey, fudge, hot foods, dog treats, bread, eggs, meat, maple products, gelato, fruits, and vegetables and lots more! Everyone in my house looks forward to Thursdays!
Wonderful open air farmers market on Thursday throughout the summer season. Produce, meats and other offerings from several local and regional farms plus brick oven pizza, local honey and so many other wonderful offerings.
This is the best farmer’s market in the area. Incredibly family and community friendly. Fresh local Amish and organic produce, great coffee, live music, fair trade crafts from The Presbyterian global ministries, incredible wood fire pizza, fresh squeezed lemonade and authentic Greek gyros…. Plus tons more! Better than anything you’ll get at the supermarket, and cheaper too! Plus you can support local businesses and their families. What’s not to love?!
