Farmers Market
Chappaqua, New York
Chappaqua Farmers Market centers its identity on working exclusively with local farmers whose practices align with the market’s mission, while also accepting SNAP to increase accessibility and help address food insecurity. At the Chappaqua Train Station, that mission-driven framing meets a broad Saturday shopping mix that includes local fruits and vegetables, prepared foods, baked goods, fish and meats, spirits, and more. The result is a market that pairs everyday grocery staples with specialty stops in one compact destination.
The mix here leans broad rather than single-category: produce and flowers sit alongside seafood, prepared foods, beverages, wine, and occasional specialty vendors. That range fits the market’s stated focus on local fruits and vegetables, prepared foods, baked goods, fish and meats, spirits, and more.
The market also describes its vendor roster as curated by market manager Pascale and her team, with final approval by the board. That screening process is part of how the market presents its participating vendors, and it helps explain why the lineup spans staple shopping and specialty items without feeling random.
Music at the Market is part of the on-site experience, with seating called out as a place to grab a coffee and a bagel while listening. The market calendar also points shoppers to vendor updates and events during the season.
The biggest planning detail is the setting: the market takes place at the Chappaqua Train Station on Allen Place in Chappaqua. It runs on Saturdays during the outdoor season from May 9 to December 19, with service from 8:30 to 1 pm. Dogs are welcome, which can matter if you’re deciding whether to combine errands with a walk. Parking is described as easy, though no lot-by-lot instructions are given. The market notes that there are no restrooms listed in its visitor details, so it helps to plan that part of your stop ahead of time.
Chappaqua Farmers Market accepts SNAP during its outdoor season as part of its stated food security effort to increase accessibility and help address food insecurity. The market also offers a SNAP/EBT Match Program with a 100% token match, supported by VDO Cardiology. Payment methods are presented clearly in the market’s visitor details.
Music begins at 10 am; kids activities are offered; bistro tables for sitting; dogs are welcome if well-behaved and leashed; rain or shine.

Great farmers market!! Lots of delicious options for fresh produce, baked goods and other fun finds. Wave Hill Breads is a definite stand out - possibly some of the best bread I've had!
I love the farmers market and make a point of seeing my favorite vendors every week if they’re there! They also have Bobo‘s market so you can have lunch and listen to live music. It’s set up in a circular way so you can walk around and feel included in the community. Parking is ample and I think it’s a beautiful way to start the weekend.
Fine assortment of vendors with quality products: amazing fresh, delicious produce (items not commonly available in super markets or even produce stands), honeys, cheeses, vegetable chips and snacks, and to-die-for baked goods. Bring a large shopping bag and enjoy!
Visited Chappaqua Farmers Market for the first time earlier this week. It was great to see all the vendors despite rain. Felt good to shop there for vegetables, fruits and apple cider (which kids love and I prefer that to soda anyway :) ). Most importantly I was so glad to find La Petite Occasion, we all enjoyed the chocolates. Will come back every time the market is open!
Really great farmers market that runs through the summer into the fall. There is a fantastic variety of foods from specialty items (like honey, oils, soups) to a range of bakers, farm stands as well as great meats and fishes.
