Set in the main parking lot at Presbyterian Santa Fe Medical Center, the Southside Market gives Santa Fe a Tuesday afternoon market on Beckner Road rather than in the Railyard. This Del Sur market runs from July through September, from 3pm to 6pm, creating a shorter summer window built around late-day shopping. It is part of the Santa Fe Farmers’ Market organization, which also operates year-round and seasonal markets in the city, but this location stands out for bringing the market directly to the south side medical center campus. For shoppers in this part of Santa Fe, that partnership and setting shape the visit as much as the produce tables do.
The Santa Fe Farmers’ Market requires vendors to sell local agricultural products, with “local” defined across a specific regional footprint that includes Santa Fe, Rio Arriba, Los Alamos, Taos, Mora, San Miguel, Sandoval, Torrance, McKinley, San Juan, Guadalupe, Harding, Colfax, Union, and De Baca counties. That policy gives this market a tight local frame rather than a general retail mix.
The organization is also accepting vendors in primary product categories including produce, soil enhancement, and meat, which points to a market emphasis grounded in farm and food production. At the Southside Market in particular, the site’s own materials highlight Double Up Food Bucks at the Del Sur Market, where thousands of dollars are doubled every year to help local families buy fresh produce. That makes the market’s local role practical: it connects regional growers with south side shoppers through a seasonal, neighborhood-scale outlet.
No dogs are allowed at this market, a useful detail to know before arriving at the medical center parking lot. The Southside Market takes place at Presbyterian Medical Center, 4801 Beckner Road, in the main parking lot, so drivers should head for the hospital campus rather than the Santa Fe Farmers’ Market Pavilion in the Railyard. The market runs on Tuesday afternoons from 3pm to 6pm during its July-to-September season, which makes it a later-day stop compared with the organization’s morning markets. Restrooms are not available in the listed visit details.
This is also a smaller seasonal branch of the larger Santa Fe Farmers’ Market network, so the key planning point is choosing the right location: the Southside Market is the Del Sur market at Presbyterian Medical Center, not the year-round Saturday market at 1607 Paseo de Peralta.
SNAP/EBT is accepted at the Southside Market. The market’s materials also note that thousands of dollars are doubled every year at the Del Sur Market through the Double Up Food Bucks Program, helping local families buy fresh produce. Payment methods are clearly posted for shoppers on site, which makes this a useful stop for planned weekly grocery buying.
Located in the main parking lot at Presbyterian Santa Fe Medical Center (4801 Beckner Road).
EBT is accepted at all SFFM markets including the Santa Fe Farmers’ Market – Del Sur. The Del Sur market participates in the Double Up Food Bucks Program. WIC participants can get locally grown fresh fruits and vegetables from Del Sur vendors during their market appointments.

This farmers market is a must see when in Santa fe. Amazing produce, baked goods, chili powders of all kinds. Chili wreaths, white sage and the bread and eggs were amazing! They was even a gentleman writing poems on a typewriter. Saturday morning 8 to 1pm.
Very nice farmers market. I'm sure it's larger in the summer months, but it had a lot of fresh vegetables and greens for sale. I got my knife sharpened, bought a couple of delicious quiche and coffee, and looked at a lot of local homemade herbs and spices.
What a cool farmers market and artisans market! Wow, it was huge with so many beautiful organic fresh produce and fresh roasted Chiles. And they had some amazing artists with all kinds of beautiful work. I was amazed at the wonderful fruits, vegetables, fresh pastries & Chiles. I am going up to on Tuesday to stick up for a nice home cooked Mexican dinner at home with my family.
Santa Fe Farmers market is a fantastic collection of skilled craftspeople, accomplished farmers, and creative artists in various media. Although there are fewer merchants in the winter months, there are always plenty of good choices as well as delightful people to meet. We make sure to stop every time we pass through Santa Fe on a Saturday.
We visited this market in mid October 2025. It was the most impressive actual farmer food, farmers market we’ve ever seen in this country. There were so many local farmers bringing fresh vegetables that were so healthy in appearance. There were bakeries and mushrooms and music and art, the unique flowers were also incredible.
