Kennedy Park on Cookman Avenue, next to Ivan & Andy’s, sets the scene for Asbury Fresh in downtown Asbury Park. The market runs as part of FRESH Markets, an organization that says it has spent more than 14 years bringing together farmers, makers, bakers, growers, and neighbors while helping local entrepreneurs show their work and build businesses at pop-ups and farmers markets. That framing fits the mix here: produce and bread sit alongside pickles, skincare, flowers, clothing, and gardening advice, giving this stop a broader maker-market feel without losing its farm-market core.
Snapping Turtle Farm and Wildspawn Mushrooms point to a market where fresh ingredients share space with pantry goods and handcrafted products. The lineup highlighted here leans local and varied, with growers, bakers, prepared-food specialists, makers, and an educational gardening table represented on the same market roster.
No dogs are allowed, and the market does not list restrooms, so those two details can shape how long you stay and who comes along. If you want the freshest selection from farms and bakers, the Sunday 9am to 2pm window is the operating frame to plan around from May through September. Payment methods are presented clearly by the market, which helps when you are mixing produce purchases with bread, pickles, flowers, skincare, or clothing from different vendors. Asbury Fresh also operates within a system that emphasizes setup instructions, event communications, and smooth operations under a market manager, so the overall experience is structured rather than informal drop-in vending.

Love being part of the Bell Works Farmers Market! The vibe here is always so fun—good music, amazing food, and such a great mix of local vendors. Wednesdays have quickly become my favorite day of the week. It’s the perfect spot to grab fresh produce, try something new, and support small businesses. Always a great crowd and such a welcoming community. Can’t wait for the next one!
Wonderful experience with Asbury Fresh Markets! I highly recommend checking out this market if you haven’t visited yet. It’s very well organized, and my day went smoothly overall. The fee is reasonable, and on the days I’ve attended, there’s definitely good foot traffic. I was a vendor at the Bell Works location, which is a beautiful, dog-friendly building. There are also lots of children and families, making it a fun environment to sell in!
I love working with Asbury Fresh! I know that it will be a well organized event with no stress. I book with them throughout the year at multiple locations. This photo is from Pt Pleasant Farmers Market.
As 2025 comes to an end and I reflect on the first year of So Not Charming, I'd really like to thank Asbury Fresh. They offer an incredible community for small businesses and makers to come together and be seen. I've had such a wonderful year being part of Asbury Fresh and they really gave me a great start.
Asbury Fresh has the best energy! It’s the kind of place that just feels good — super friendly, full of creative local vendors, and always something cool to discover. Fresh produce, handmade pieces, vintage finds… every booth has its own personality. Everyone’s welcoming, the vibe is easy and inviting, and it’s such a great way to spend a few hours. Plus, it’s just steps from the beach — so you can soak up the local flavor and the ocean breeze all in one trip. Whether you're a local or just visiting, this market is definitely worth checking out! 🩷🌷
