Farmers Market
Sparks, Nevada
39 North Marketplace sits in Downtown Sparks on Victorian Ave and is tied into the same downtown network that includes Yelp as a listed partner for 39 North Downtown. The setting places it in the middle of landmarks that define this stretch of Sparks, including Victorian Square and Victorian Plaza. The organization behind it presents its work as connecting community and businesses in the City of Sparks through common ground, a mission that gives this marketplace a distinctly downtown focus rather than a detached event-site feel. With a summer season running from June to August, it reads as part of the broader 39 North Downtown calendar centered on Sparks gathering spaces.
39 North Downtown describes its mission as connecting community and businesses through common ground and strengthening the foundation for the future in Sparks. That framing matters here because the marketplace is not presented as a standalone retail stop; it sits inside a downtown effort that works with the community, elected officials, and businesses in the City of Sparks.
The surrounding program makes that local emphasis concrete. The same organization lists events and initiatives such as 3rd Thursday, Sparks Art Walk, Secret Sparks, Engine 39, Kick For A Cause, and 39 North Pole Village. It also highlights Sparks Business Connection, public art committee work, volunteer committees, and business features in its meetings and events materials, showing a downtown model built around recurring civic and business participation rather than a single market day.
What stands out most here is the downtown event ecosystem around the marketplace. Instead of a published vendor roster, the strongest picture comes from the places, programs, and recurring happenings that 39 North Downtown promotes around Victorian Avenue and adjacent landmarks.
The events calendar and meetings pages also connect this marketplace setting to Engine 39 and Kick For A Cause, extending the downtown schedule beyond the core summer market window.
No dogs is the clearest visit rule posted for this market setting, so that detail may change plans before you head to Victorian Ave. Parking is the next practical piece: free parking locations listed for the Sparks Art Walk include Victorian Plaza, the Galaxy Theater Parking Garage at 1130 Ave Of The Oaks, Great Basin Brewery at 846 Victorian Ave, Sparks Heritage Museum at 829 C Street, and Nugget Casino Resort at 1100 Nugget Ave.
The season runs from June through August, so this is a summer visit rather than a year-round routine. If you need a direct contact, 39 North Downtown lists Angela Handler and a Sparks phone number, 775-690-2581, in its event and meeting materials. Restrooms are not listed in the visitor details provided for this market.
The 39 North Pole Village description includes a giant heated vendor tent, food trucks, Hot Chocolate Cottage playland, free train rides, and free Santa photos. The Sparks Art Walk provides QR-code learning for installations and lists free parking locations.

Every year, on Labor’s day weekend, Nugget Casino organize the Rib Cook Off in Sparks at Victorian Square. There is no admission fee and the parking is free. Great ride and games for little kids are available and also candy, ice cream, shave ice, lemonade. Beers and wine testing for adults. Pets and non-service animals are not permitted on Victorian Square.
They did an amazing job with down town sparks from my childhood to now it's come a long way I truly thought sparks was done when they lost the silver club but look at it now
Best place in Reno to have a great time. You can find movie theater, wineries, restaurants, casino and many annual events!
Great well kept place. I love the street even when there’s nothing going on but the events are super nice as well :)
The only problem I have is there aren't more businesses that location.
