Farmers Market
St. Louis, Missouri
North City Farmers' Market brings a small, neighborhood-scale Saturday market to 2700 North 13th Street in St. Louis from June through October. The market is tied closely to the 13th Street Community Garden, which both hosts the market and appears among its vendors, giving the lineup a distinctly garden-based, hyperlocal footprint. Seasonal vendors include City Seeds Urban Farm, Beaucoup Creek Honey, and 37 Chocolate Street, alongside week-to-week sellers such as MK Fruits & Veggies and The Veggie Patch. The result is a compact market with produce, honey, sweets, crafts, and occasional nonprofit re-use programming all sharing the same North City setting.
The mix here reads as intentionally small and mixed-use: urban growing projects, fresh produce sellers, pantry-friendly staples, and a few craft or specialty tables rather than a long row of lookalike farm stands. Several vendors are listed for the full season, while others appear on weekly lineups, so the market combines a stable core with some short-run variety.
That lineup gives the market a wider range than produce alone. A stop here can combine vegetables, honey, chocolate, crochet items, and hands-on creative re-use programming in one short Saturday visit.
No dogs are allowed, which is the clearest policy detail to factor into your visit. The market runs on Saturdays for a short two-hour window, 10am to 12pm, during its June-to-October season, so timing matters more here than at larger markets with longer schedules. It takes place at 2700 North 13th Street in the 13th Street Community Garden, and that garden-hosted setup helps explain the market’s close-in, neighborhood scale. Restrooms are marked unavailable, another practical point to plan around if you’re making this one stop in a longer morning run. One visitor described it as “just round the corner” and noted fresh fruits and veggies in a no-rush setting.
SNAP/EBT is accepted here, an important detail if you’re planning a produce run with benefits. Payment methods are otherwise presented clearly by the market, which helps set expectations before you arrive. With produce vendors, honey, and other grocery-adjacent sellers in the mix, the market supports both quick neighborhood shopping and smaller supplemental purchases.
The market offers free monthly shuttle service on select days during the season, with multiple stop locations and listed departure times. The market also includes cooking demos, nutrition education, and health screenings as part of its programming.

We enjoy shopping at the U City Farmers Market year-round. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. We were attracted by products that are organic, grass fed, free range, or fresh caught. It is open every Saturday 8:30am-12:30pm through November 2, 2025. It is also open Thursdays 4pm-7pm through September 25. Additionally, there are special events. Currently at Centennial.Commons 7210 Olive Blvd in Heman Park. See their web page or social media pages for more details.
All of the vendors here are DUPER friendly. It's a wonderful homely vibe. The band is rocking away making the whole park light up. Prices are low, there's lots of good food, and I bout a warm hot cocoa from the coffee shop.
Very modest and accomodating farmers market just round the corner. Serves a small niche of people, plenty parking, no rush and morning music with fresh fruits and veggies. Great choices for the people in the neighborhood!
Go here and get the falafel sandwich! We have it for breakfast every Saturday and it is the best I've ever had. There are some good farmers here and you can even get some decent cold brew.
I always love going to the Farmers Market in the Loop. Between the fresh food, unique environmentally conscious products and more than reasonable prices I always leave happy. Every community should have a Farmers Market in my opinion.
