Teriyaki beef jerky and black pepper garlic turkey jerky are my two favorites ALWAYS super fresh. And my wife being a Filipino who loves fish, enjoys the smoked salmon. Also the brats are so good. We've also enjoyed many other cuts of meat, and they're mixed patties so darn good.
Stopped for gas and wandered into the Hungry Farmer on a whim, and I'm so glad I did. The Teres Major steaks I bought for New Year's Eve were tender and flavorful. I'll definitely make a point to stop anytime I'm near North Branch.
Just the smell of the smoked meats will lure you in. A great assortment of jerky, beef sticks, and even smoked salmon. But the candy bacon is hands down the best!! Grab a snack pack of meats and cheeses for the road. Oh, and even pick up a dinosaur bone for your dog.
Previously we enjoyed the hearty Mac and cheese from here and it was hit with the whole family. This time we bought the seasoned pork chops and smoked them for breakfast they were amazing! We will be back for more and look forward to their impending expansion!
New to the area and wanted a local owned meat market to buy from. Found the Hungry Farmer on a google search and not far from me. Went over, clean, friendly, nice assortment and prices are good as well. So glad to have found them to go and buy fresh meat.
