Farmers Market
Holland, Michigan
75
The Holland Farmers Market is a City of Holland market set in Downtown Holland at 150 West 8th Street, with a stated roster of 75 vendors and a year-round season that stretches beyond its regular May-to-October run. That combination gives it a bigger footprint than a short summer-only stop, while still keeping the focus on a twice-weekly market rhythm on Wednesdays and Saturdays during the regular season. The address places it right in the downtown core, close to the Holland Civic Center and the 9th Street Parking Deck, so it reads as part of everyday Holland rather than a market tucked away on the edge of town.
Downtown Holland is central to this market’s identity: the market is located there, operated with the City of Holland, and tied to nearby civic and transportation infrastructure including the Holland Civic Center and Padnos Transportation Center. That downtown placement matters because it connects shopping for food with the city’s walkable core and public destinations rather than isolating it in a separate venue.
The market’s local role also shows up in the number of food-access partners attached to it. Bridge Cards, Double Up Food Bucks, Senior Fresh, WIC Produce Connection, WIC, Women, Infants & Children, and the Senior Project Fresh Program are all named alongside the market, as are Community Action House Food Club and the Ottawa County Health Department.
The clearest picture here is scale and support: a 75-vendor market with food-access programs and family-oriented activities named as part of the market itself. Rather than a narrow specialty stop, it presents itself as a broad market anchored by shopping plus on-site programs.
No dogs are allowed, which is the detail most likely to change a same-day plan. Parking is otherwise straightforward: free parking is available on-site at the Holland Farmers Market, with additional free on-street and surface-lot parking throughout Downtown Holland, plus designated free public parking in the 9th Street Parking Deck across the street. Overnight parking is not permitted. Restrooms are available, which helps if you are planning a longer downtown stop instead of a quick in-and-out visit.
If you are arriving without a car, Amtrak and Indian Trails both stop at the Padnos Transportation Center in Downtown Holland, and the market is about a five-minute drive or 25-minute walk from that station area.
SNAP is accepted here through Bridge Cards, and the market also participates in Double Up Food Bucks for fresh fruits and vegetables. Additional food-support programs named with the market include Senior Fresh, WIC Produce Connection, WIC, and the Senior Project Fresh Program, pointing to a market set up to handle more than standard cash-only shopping.
Free parking is available onsite at the Holland Farmers Market, with additional on-street and surface lot parking throughout Downtown Holland. Free public parking is also available in designated spaces at the 9th Street Parking Deck, just across the street from the Market. Overnight parking is not permitted.
Dogs and other animals are strictly prohibited per City of Holland ordinance; service dogs are permitted with proper identification. Public restrooms are available inside the Holland Civic Center during market hours. An ATM is located inside the Holland Civic Center.

Loved the seasonal produce. Had blueberries, strawberries, honey, peaches, and some donut peaches. Sweeter than regular ones. You can also use your EBT card by getting coins for trading at the main office. All quality products. I'll be a return customer for sure!
This is a real farmer's market!!! So many beautiful and delicious options. The vendors were helpful and kind. We were in town visiting and I knew visiting the market was a must. If you're in Holland on Wednesday or Saturday, definitely stop by!
We love coming to the Holland Farmers Market both on Wednesdays and Saturdays, with Wednesdays being a little less crowded. A nice variety of vendors and local farmers that we love to support.
Holland Farmer's Market is a one stop shop for all that is healthy! I appreciate the farmers and vendors and their dedication to their crafts. Pricey, but worth it in the long run. You can't put a price on health.
