Farmers Market
Sandwich, Massachusetts
At Route 6A Village Green, the Sandwich Farmers Market brings a summer market setup to one of Sandwich’s central public spaces. The market runs on Tuesdays and pairs farm goods with a notably mixed vendor roster that includes produce, pasture-raised meats, native plants, baked goods, herbal products, beer, and lemon cream liqueur. The market also emphasizes neighbor-to-neighbor exchange, describing the work here as “done by the hands of our neighbors, created for the community”. That combination gives the market a practical errand feel, but with enough specialty food and artisan booths to make browsing part of the draw.
Produce and food vendors anchor the market, but the lineup reaches well past standard fruit-and-vegetable shopping into native plants, pantry staples, herbal body care, home goods, and drink producers. That makes this a market where a food run can easily turn into a broader loop through garden starts, kitchen items, and Cape-made specialty products.
No dogs are allowed, which is the clearest visit-planning detail to settle before heading over. The market is held at Route 6A Village Green on Tuesdays in the summer season, with a daytime 9am to 1pm schedule that makes it a morning-to-lunchtime stop rather than an evening market. The market also actively invites volunteers and welcomes inquiries from local farmers and artisans interested in joining, so the setup is not limited to shoppers alone. Restrooms are not available on site, another useful logistical note if you are planning a longer visit with multiple stops in Sandwich afterward.
SNAP/EBT is accepted at Sandwich Farmers Market. Oakdale Farms is specifically identified within the vendor list as SNAP certified, giving shoppers at least one clearly marked produce option for benefits use. Payment methods appear clearly communicated by the market, which helps when the vendor mix includes farm stands, prepared foods, body care, and artisan goods.

Great little farmers market! Got some good samples, great veggies, and even some local beer and limoncello.
This weekend is an artisian & craft fair. It's worth the trip, vast variety of wares, easy prices, today n tomorrow. Friendly, kids and dog friendly.
This place can be a lot of fun! It depends on the event and the venders but definitely worth a visit.
