Farmers Market
Braintree, Massachusetts
Braintree Farmers Market centers its identity on mission as much as produce, with a site menu that puts “About” and “Mission” alongside vendor information and Market Moolah/HIP/SNAP resources. The seasonal Saturday market brings together locally grown and produced fruits and vegetables, meats raised without hormones or antibiotics, seafood, prepared foods, flowers, plants, preserves, maple syrup, spa products, baked goods, and more. That broad mix gives this market a practical shape: shoppers can pick up farm staples, pantry goods, and ready-to-eat foods in one stop while still buying from locally based small businesses.
The mix here leans wide rather than narrow, with working farms, protein vendors, bakery stands, prepared-food makers, pantry specialists, and a few specialty sellers all represented. It reads like a market built for full-basket shopping, not just a quick produce stop.
No dogs are allowed, which is the clearest visit rule to plan around. The market operates at 1 JFK Memorial Drive in Braintree on Saturdays during its June-to-October outdoor season, with a Thanksgiving holiday farmers market also listed in its about materials. Vendor information also notes that the market is not accepting craft vendors, so the emphasis stays on farms, artisan food, wine, and personal care product sellers that are locally based small businesses. Restrooms are not available in the visitor details provided. Payment methods are presented clearly, and the market highlights its Market Moolah/HIP/SNAP resources in its main navigation.
SNAP/EBT is accepted at Braintree Farmers Market, and the market prominently features Market Moolah/HIP/SNAP in its main navigation. At least one vendor, Clodhopper Farm, also states that it accepts SNAP and HIP as well as MFM Senior and WIC coupons directly at checkout. Payment methods are presented clearly in the market’s visitor details.
Music is sponsored each week by the Braintree Electric Light Dept. The market operates rain or shine (indoor option mentioned for unpleasant weather dates).

I think it’s wonderful that our town has a farmers market, but wished they could bring on more vendors like Canton’s and Sowa’s, and add winter market like Weymouth does.
We should all go to Braintree market this farmers market is fantastic it's across the street from the Braintree library I also have an EBT card most farmers markets except EBT
I come here most weekends during the summer to pick up fresh produce. Prices are a bit high, but it’s a fun thing to do in the morning and I get good produce to cook with afterward.
Great to have them back in person. A little smaller but some of the same vendors. Wonderful fresh produce. Corn and tomorrow's just starting.. They are awesome! Support them!
