Farmers Market
Catonsville, Maryland
Catonsville Farmers Market runs from May through November in Catonsville, giving midweek shoppers a compact market with a notably broad mix of farm goods, bakery items, prepared foods, and pantry staples. The vendor lineup ranges from naturally raised eggs and poultry to heirloom produce, gourmet mushrooms, French breads, local meats, wine, and olive oil. One visitor described it as a smaller market with “serious producers, real farmers,” which matches the emphasis on named farms and maker-led stands rather than generic resale tables.
Glenville Hollow Farms has been operated by Cindy and Steve Yingling since 1980, and that long-running produce stand helps set the tone for a market centered on farm-grown food and maker-specific specialties. The mix leans practical for weekly shopping, but it also includes a few stands that change the feel of the trip, from on-site crêpes to monthly knife and tool sharpening.
No dogs are allowed, so that policy may shape plans before you head over. The market is located at 5820 Edmondson Ave in Catonsville, and it operates seasonally from May through November rather than year-round. Restrooms are not available on site, another detail worth knowing if you are building the market into a longer morning errand run. Payment methods are clearly communicated by the market, and one vendor, Lisa’s Love Cookies, also offers pre-ordering by email or text for pickup, which can help if you are shopping with a specific item in mind.
SNAP/EBT is accepted at Catonsville Farmers Market, which makes staple shopping here more workable for produce, eggs, meat, and other eligible foods. The market also clearly communicates payment methods, giving shoppers a better sense of how to plan purchases across different stands.

This is one of the best farmers market because it is samll but with serious producers, real farmers and Andy the Egg Man has Broom's Broom cheeses and ice cream. Every Wednesday but every other Wednesday in winter. 5820 Edmonson Ave. a mile inside Beltway.
Every Wednesday 8-noon. Fresh, truly local produce that has so much flavor compared to supermarket produce shipped from afar. Vendors grow or make their own products—no buying wholesale at the big Laurel warehouse and passing it off as local. Incredible French bakery items, excellent meat products, seasonal fruits and a wide variety of veggies, herb plants, wines, local varieties of honey, and homemade/gourmet jellies and jams.
Really good product from eggs and milk vegetables, bread honey and cookies and wine of course
Change of seasons, summer items like melons and peaches are at an end, fall fruits and vegetables are starting to come in.
Always great. Bought some raspberry honey .. was delicious
